For insurance, 350-400 easy.    The biggest importer is selling 91/30s for 300.  I was there on friday and I didnt see any m44 stragglers.  When a big load of these came in I think they were going for 250.

I bought mine a few years back for $250.

It's a fun little gun to shoot.

In 2011, I bought a M44 and a hex 91/30 for $200 when AIM was having a sale.  Based on what I have seen, I would ask about $250 to $300 for mine.

I purchased two NIW M44s made in the USSR for something like $79.00 ea back in the early 2000s.  I should have purchased two more.

They are both post-war and beautifully made.  I never thought they'd be worth more than $200.00 at any point in my life.

The Old Man wanted an M38 because they didn't have the folding bayonet, but every one we looked had a counterbored muzzle.

I'm kind of a fan of the M44.  They both shoot well with Greek made Olympic brand ammo.

I picked up my 1945 M44 from the junk pile in a Gander Mountain years ago for maybe $120.   All matching numbers and the bluing and bore is pristine.  The stock is a little beat.

Happy with my 2 M44's I picked up from Wideners back in the day when they sold guns and rifles. Paid 99 bucks each shipped to my door. Love the look on people's faces when I let off a round down range !!!
