It's been a double ender since last night with all the great side events of sweats, chills, shakes, etc.

Finally stopped exploding.

Huckleberry has been worried about me the whole time.

I love this dog.Attachment Attached File

My wife's dog wouldn't leave her side when she she had pneumonia . He would go out to the bathroom then go right back upstairs. He wouldn't even come downstairs to eat. Miss that dog

Thanks.

He's the calmest most gentle dog ever. I just wish he knew the difference  between laying with me and laying on me.

I hate moving him cause it hurts his feelings.

OP must have eaten at McDonalds last night, and like so many other ARFCOM'rs before him, died of explosive diarrhea.

I hope you are feeling better soon.

Mine are the same way.  I scoot over, my female dog scoots over to keep against my leg.  My male has too much hair to sleep on the bed (he gets too hot).

Same thing has been making the rounds through our house too, started with our 18 month old and so far hit my wife and myself, the oldest two children have been spared thankfully.

This week sucked

Cheap Wal-Mart cotton socks.

I splurge on hikers and cold weather but not everyday socks.

At the first hint of a bug in the house, the wife dual wields alcohol and bleach bottles everywhere around the house.

Here's to hoping she got ahead of it before I contaminated everything.

It went through our house with a vengence!
Kids got it, passed it around to each other and to us,(parents), andthen it mutated into a different strain and the whole process started all over again.
It was fucking awful...hope you guys are able kick it fast and be done with it.

I'm the only lucky winner so far.

Sounds like you guys might have had cryptospiridia(sp). Been in a public pool?

We dealt with it for almost a month one time. Truly a horrible experience.

I just referred to it as cholera...

Important lesson learned from this... if you THINK the kid on the top bunk might be sick, or getting sick, or thinking about getting sick...

Get them off the top bunk immediately.
When they throw up everywhere BUT the bucket you only have one bed and one set of pajamas to wash. If you want to watch vomit rain down onto a sleeping child, and wash two children, two sets of sheets, blankets, and pillows, and two sets of pajamas...wait 5 seconds too long...

Ugh...

According to ARF standards you must have had a single McDonald's French fry because that's all it takes for their delicate stomachs to send their food out.

Hope you feel better soon, lots of fluids.

I know people don't think cats are like that, but mine are.

It's also possible that they're just sticking close in case I die so they can be the first to the feast, but I choose to think they're comforting me.

Feel better, and stay hydrated!

crypto was a big problem here back around 2007.
the neighbor kid caught at some rinky-dink waterpark shithole, and passed it to the parents.
they were sick for weeks.

He gets a raw egg on his food every day. Little bacon grease or butter occasionally in the winter.

Keeps him from shedding so bad, too.

Israeli wool emergency blanket. Soft and toasty. I snag wool blankets when I see a deal. Been a life saver for the boy when I was a scout leader.

Pedialyte will get you re-hydrated better than Gatorade without all the sugar. Popcorn will dry up your farts, you'll be good to go by Monday.

Lots of fluids and some chicnen noodle soup and I was feeling 100 within 2 days! Damn fog laid i tip of me the whole time. Had to kick him off I was feeling too warm sometimes.

Wow you got it bad...

When you get a chance get some raw local honey...at the first sign of gastric distress take a teaspoon of raw honey. Repeat every hour.
It may not have saved you in this situation, but it may have helped some.

For truely high octane honey, look for Manuka Honey. This is remarkable stuff. I've given this to friends suffering from sore throats to upset stomach and are amazed with the positive results.

Do an internet search on "benefits of Raw Honey"...yes I used too be a Bee Keeper...

Btw dogs are awesome, treat him well.
