 ) to make Ryan look like THE leader in the House, despite the fact that Ryan was not loyal to him during the campaign. So Ryan fails to pass legislation that Trump is asking for, right? What does Trump do? Puts out the word that if his agenda is going to succeed, it's going to take a different Speaker, i.e. one who was with Trump all along. This exercise in lawmaking is nothing more than giving Ryan the rope to hang himself politically.

It would have been 1000% smarter to try passing the HPA or repealing some anti-gun crap, on their first try. |

You know all through the nomination process i have to admit some of the stuff Trump did to me seemed stupid
and made me think, well he has finally fucked up and its over. Time and time again I have been proven wrong and here we are today. You know what? I honestly don't think the Republican leadership thought they would win the White House. Honestly they probably didn't want to. They've been talking about replacing Obama care for damn near 7 years and when it's time to put up or shut up they put up a wet fart that no one likes. Like the dog chasing the car they finally caught it and now they don't know what to do.
Either way I knew as soon as Obamacare passed that it was there for the long run. It's like metastasized cancer at this point. |
