I will say, the OT, RTIC, and other tumblers are just as good as YETI.  No doubt.

But, I looked at OT roto-molded coolers, and their soft sided coolers last night while in Wally World, and they are absolute garbage.  Not in the same galaxy as Yeti, Orca, and most of the other name brands.  I'm not saying YETI is worth the price, but, I can guarantee you the OT coolers are not worth their price.

I'll stick with YETI.

OT coolers leave much to be desired.

RTIC coolers, however, are very good and on par with Yeti.

The knockoffs suck in comparison bro. Plus they taste funky

You realize they are made exactly the same and in the same factories. Yeti is just a brand that rebrands them from a Chinese factory.
I've seen many tests and they are all the same.

I picked up a Colster and I have to say it works really well, if it lasts as long as it looks like it will I'd even call it worth $30.

I wish they made a taller one for Monster cans.

The OT version would have only cost you $7.74.

Not a Yeti fanboy. Just getting tired of reading that over and over again. Yet, no matter how hard I try to find any truth to that statement. None can be found.

I have a big OT tumbler that works great too.  Does OT make a taller version?

i learned everything I ever needed to know about Yeti when...

1. I started to see bro-dozers with stickers
2. their cooler got beat by a cheap coleman in head to head ice tests

Good for them for fixing their signs at their store...but I'm not interested in the over-priced-but-underperforming segment of the consumer market.

Between my wife and I, we have 2 Yeti, 2 RTIC and 1 Ozark Trail of varying sizes.  You can't taste a difference between them.  They're all stainless steel.

And while I've never iced them up and ran them on a timer, I can tell you that sitting side by side in the cup holders in the car on trips, the ice doesn't magically melt faster in the $8 one and last forever in the $35 one.  They both stay iced down perfectly fine.

The tests or factory?

The factory is a joke.  They are pretty much identical but I'm sure they both use different Chinese child labor camps.

The tests are all over YouTube.

I never heard of these things besides arfcom. Are these really expensive coffee cups so the coffee stays warm for 8 hours if you nurse one cup that long?
View Quote
IME, they actually keep coffee too hot for too long.  For some, that's a good thing, but they do work well.

They're ubiquitous now.  You can find them advertised on TV, knockoffs at Target and other places.  They're nothing but a variation on the old vacuum sealed 'thermos' like my Nissan that's 30 years old.

The good news is is that they fit in a cup holder!

I brewed up a half gallon of iced tea Saturday and put it in my $15 ChinaMart OT 64oz. vacuum bottle and traveled across to Naples, FL and by the time we got back 7 hours later, it was still chilled.

For not a lot of cash, the Ozark Trails versions are a pretty good value, IMO.

YETI posted 3006 and 3007 signs to ban carry in their flagship store (it has a bar in it). Arf has antigun tizzy calling YETI out on it, YETI removes improper signage and bar subcontractor puts up correct 51% signage still banning carry. Arf feels vindicated and alls good but you still can't carry there because, bar...

Pretty sure the bar itself is the only area you couldn't carry but would be ok in the retail store or rest of the building that isn't otherwise posted.
