First time attending... does everyone just tent camp? I have access to a pop up camper that could possibly accommodate 2 ( if y'all cozy up with one another  ) others.
It would be without electricity as the only generators I have are loud. Just didn't know if their was room or if this was discouraged? |

For first timers is there any kind of information packet?
Where is the event? Will GPS get me there? What are the obstacles? Do I bring my own peeps? Are there assigned run times? Do I have to check in each day? Etc Site seems pretty barren on these. I'm literally flying blind aside from what I can gather through pictures/video/inside jokes. |

I was ready to run, and I ran when I was told. The person running the range (scarecrow) didn't even make fun of my shitty shooting, shitty gear, nor did he say anything about the troy rail. Just show up where you're told. Do what you're asked. You'll do fine. |

If there are a multitude of folks on site, and someone wants to wait, we will let them wait. If there is no one running, and you haven't run. You will be given a 10 min warning and then your time starts. 
Do I have to check in each day? Check in at Texas is right when you show up. You will go and sign waiver and get a wristband. You will then sit around and hang out and refrain from alcohol until after you complete your run. Site seems pretty barren on these. I'm literally flying blind aside from what I can gather through pictures/video/inside jokes. OVERALL RULES: You must sign liability release waiver for injuries before running course. Bring legal form of Identification. Follow all firearms safety rules. No handling firearms after drinking. No loaded firearms in camp. PERIOD. No airsoft at this event. Do not bring them. No items of a sexual nature, there are kids around. Listen to CW Staff - No Exceptions If you break any of these rules you will be banned from this and all future Cola Warriors. Required Items : 2 standard capacity magazines for your handgun. 2 standard capacity magazines for your rifle. If you do not have hand gun or rifle, bring ammo. You can borrow someone's guns. We are all bros here. 72oz of cola of your choice. In denomination of your choice. However, understand that we hate doing math while judging runs. If your cola is not in 12oz, 24oz, or a 2 liter with 5oz chaser, it will be treated as a 2 liter. Any failure to drink all cola not in 12 or 24oz portions will count as a 30 min penalty. So don't be the jackass who shows up with 16.9oz bottles and expect me to math. I will just penalize you and move on. Harsh but fair. 12oz is if 5 min penalty per can. 24oz is 10 min penalty per can. All other portion sizes count as complete failure of 30min if you don't get them all down. Either hotel reservations, RV, camping gear, and or bugspray if you are just going to drink yourself to sleep and lay in the grass. Optional : snacks, more booze, friends (optional because you will find all of these things at the colawars) |
