Canada is an option and I guess there are quite a few in NZ and Australia. There is a pretty good sized community of South African Jews here in San Diego. I have done work for quite a few of them, pretty much all of them are nice folks, very smart and very successful (and the women are HOT). But yeah, if they aren't heading for the exits already, they may find themselves fleeing instead of leaving. |

You need to do some reading on the matter,when the Dutch arrived in the 1600s,native populations were quite small and their density very low. About a century later,populations boomed when the corn brought from the New World by the Portuguese allowed far more to be fed. This created the conditions for the Mfecane/Dfecane. In reality,the Zulus and Brits started building their empires in South Africa at the same time. Should the Zulus compensate all of the smaller tribes they pushed out in the 1800s? |

I realize that, but IMO if they're not going to pay you a fair price for the land and decide to take it, you should make sure it's worth what they pay you or less when you leave it. Either that or make them pay dearly for it in other ways. Smartest is to poison the wells, salt the land (or poison it in other ways) and burn/blow up your buildings. Destroy everything of value before you leave it. Don't reward the looters even in the short term. |
