What's up with 05ers and months old news this week?

Ugly. They would have been better off making their own take on the hi point.

I'm aware of them, but I have yet to see one in the wild.

I like that they take 6 rounds instead of the traditional 5.. and they look really sweet.

I've considered picking one up... but a little too nice for what I use my airweights for.

That has to be the ugliest trigger guard on a revolver I've ever seen.

I wonder if it takes 500 rounds to "break them in".

I've seen one, handled it, walked away.

Overpriced for what it is.

They're nice, but definitely not worth the price point.

I've seen one and only one.  Price was close to a grand as I recall.

We've had a few come through.

IMO gayer than cum on a mustache

"Kimber firearms are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the original retail purchase as new merchandise."
http://www.kimberamerica.com/warranty

I'll stick with my S&W Lifetime warranty.

I've seen a few sitting in the glass case at my shop, but couldn't summon the interest to ask to see one.

Kimber and revolvers go together like herpes and scabies.

I have no idea.

I did not buy one.

I bet Kimber has a website with that information if you Google it.

I could have gone the rest of my life without that little mental image.  Thanks a bunch.

I would never spend that kind of money on a small revolver, even if it was made of gold.

Now the Micro 9mm they advertise on their site for $790.00, yes I would do that.

Get back to me when they build a .38 spell. version.

I got excited for a moment until I saw what they actually look like

I want a .45 ACP wheel gun one day

Handled the one at the NRA convention, along with about 10,000 other people.

I kinda liked it.

It looks like they're following their 1911 business model and charging Dan Wesson prices for RIA quality guns.

They were released over a year ago at SHOT 2016.  This thread is a dupe times a lot.  I saw one last weekend at Bass Pro for $899.  I am holding out for the new Colt Cobra.

Seems like every cover of American Rifleman has a Kimber on the cover and gushes like they're uber top of the line custom guns, but everyone says they're crap. Must be generous with the donations.

No, I like it, but it'd be about $500 worth of like. No more.

If they make a lightweight 38sp+p I might be interested. But until then it doesn't do anything better for carry than my M&P340 other than the one extra round. The extra round is not worth a bunch of extra weight.

Bet the lockwork is based on the S&W.  The cylinder release looks like it's from Ruger.

So they can't make a 100 + year old design run reliably in semi auto, but you wan't to buy something that has even more complex and finicky internals from them? Its a bold strategy cotton.

Ya they are pretty sexy. But for as much as I shoot or need a revolver the one I have is good enough for me. It was my first handgun ever. If I am spending that much on a revolver, it's going to be something a little bigger. I can count on one hand the times I have carried a revolver since I got my ccw. It sits in my "get home bag"
