No option for hot sauce?

you should be ashamed and feel really bad.

2/3 ketchup, 1/3 BBQ sauce, a splash of Worcestershire sauce, a dash of garlic powder/salt/pepper.

Ketchup, but it's my home made stuff, which actually has flavor and is a lot like cocktail sauce without the horseradish.
And a few strips of home made bacon.

Yes, and there is something magical about ketchup cooked on as a glaze.

One of the below, depending on mood:
1) HP sauce
2) May Ploi Thai sweet chili sauce

However, since the actual reason for meatloaf is to make cold meatloaf sammiches the next day, we must also include the classic 50/50 Heinz ketchup and Duke's mayo.

To reach actual meatloaf nirvana, however, it is necessary to make a Meat Cake:

Yes, those are bacon roses on top of the garlic mashed potato frosting, sprinkled with more bacon and crumbled Velveeta. Most of the Velveeta (and more bacon) is between the layers of meatloaf, which is 2/3 chuck roast ground together with 1/3 bacon.

I use a mix of tomato sauce and ketchup

When served, ketchup on a slice or sometimes brown gravy

Bake it bare, top with Campbell's cream of mushroom soup for the last 15 minutes. Makes a nice savory gravy

My arteries hardened just looking at that . . .

Oh and 'yes' to ketchup, with a little Dillo Dust sprinkled on top.

So its a big hamburger? Blah.......

I use cream of mushroom soup that then makes a nice gravy along with sausage and some other items to juice it up.

Meatloaf shouldn't be so bland as to need ketchup on top. Last time I found a cajun recipe and then smoked it. Fucking awesome.

My last meatloaf was 1/2 chorizo and 1/2 veal (plus the usual admixture) topped with sriracha ketchup and smoked.

I use Ketchup, despite actually hating it. I much rather prefer BBQ sauce or everyone's favorite A1 Steak Sauce.

When my wife makes it, she tops it with some tomato sauce that is basically indistinguishable from ketchup, but her watching me put ketchup on my meatloaf to increase the loaf : sauce ratio makes her gag in disapproval.

No. Tomato sauce is for cooking. Ketchup is for french fries.

I glaze with equal parts ketchup and yellow mustard for the last 15 minutes of cooking, then I slice it and pan-fry the slices in butter.

Ketchup is the most over-rated condiment of all time.

Ketchup is good on fries, it serves no other purpose.

I cook it in a pound cake pan.  I line the bottom of the pan with saltines to soak the grease. Those grease soaked crackers are divine.
