Fair enough Johnnypantz.
You really gotta watch out for those guys on the internet who say things. |

I want to take this short time to remind people that this is a first time event. What you were able to do or saw done at another location does not guarantee it will happen here. As one of the guys trying to put this together, we have done everything we can to ensure that it runs as smooth as possible, but we are still trying to plan ahead in case there are any kinks in our timeline. I'd rather people that are not guaranteed a run be pissed/disappointed now instead of showing up because some guy on the internet promising that they would have time to run and then not be able to. Not to mention we are not 100% certain how many people this property will comfortably hold, and will have a better idea going forward into future events after this one. Thanks, have nice day View Quote Ill be there around lunch on Thursday to help you out sweet cheeks. By help I mean point, say mean things, and tell you that you are doing it all wrong of course. A supervisory post as it were.... With beer. Because beer. |

This is totally up to the individual event organizers. That said, I think what you propose is reasonable. View Quote As a note, range time can easily eat up a lot of available daylight. People will stand there with 80 rounds shooting allllllll day if you let them. I mean, the correct answer is to stop sucking so much and just hit the fuckin targets. But, this is Cola Warrior, and not everyone learns to do the right thing after their first miserable failure. I'll remind you, after four years, some people still haven't learned how to climb a rope. You know who you are. In any case, to account for those who suck at shooting and refuse to improve, you need to do something to minimize the time suck. A 10-minute limit works, for example. Although, you could potentially do other things besides ammo/time limits, and I feel like I just want to put that out there for future reference. Who knows, maybe somebody will set up a pop-up range at some point or something? As long as it's fair, it can be harsh. And while you can't ban yourself for missing targets like you can on impossible obstacles, it's still advisable that you should make the range something that at least you can do before subjecting other people to it. |

Depends, how much room is there for activities? I can bring it if you've got a place for me to crash. Otherwise I need the space in the back of my truck set up as my mobile love shack and won't have room for it. |

two rifle mags, two pistol mags. rifle mags limited to 40rnds ea, pistol mags limited to 20 ea. someone correct me if I'm wrong on this This is totally up to the individual event organizers. I am about 70/30 coming. Christopher T. offered a car pool and he doesn't live too far from me. I will be staying on site so I'll be bringing my camping gear. If someone needs a tent, I can throw an extra in my trailer.
