Please take a look at the Bing homepage, and then at the Google homepage.

Which of those more closely aligns with your values?

Have you ever not been able to find information about a topic using Bing?

Which search engine might you choose next time?

I didn't know I was to consider my values before choosing a search engine.

I switched over to Bing when Google was blocking searching for gun prices.

I use them both.

Bing is my preferred search engine and the one I use first, but I honestly think that Google (despite their terrible Liberal/PC skin) returns more results.
That doesn't mean I support Google, it just means that sometimes I have to use it to get the results I'm looking for.

I really want to like Bing, but Google returns better results most of the time.

Also on Bing when you click the image info you are directed to this search result:

I try to use Bing, even have it set as my default search engine, but so many times I've had to go back to google because Bing keeps giving me the results it thinks I want when Google gives me the results I need.  I use search engines for work for example I might want to search an email domain to make sure it's legit and Bing gives me websites with words in it that match what I'm looking for, or the close similarities, where Google will give me the results for ******.com.

Bing for the past 2 years. At first it was just because they allow you to earn points that can be turned into amazon cards, which at least somewhat rewards you for them being information brokers selling your data, and a hell of a lot more than google does. Only thing I use google for now is maps, cause Bing maps are pretty crappy.

Bing web searches work pretty well for me, I don't feel like I am losing results, and in many cases I have gotten better results looking for the same thing that someone else has searched on google for.

It's always seemed to me that I get more commercial results when I search using Bing (which is great if I'm shopping) compared to Google.

I get more "meat" so to speak when I Google something.

I don't use other search engines because the day is short and I am old.

Another good one is startpage.com.

StartPage acts as an intermediary between you and Google. Google only sees us, they never see you. When you enter a search, we submit it to Google for you, so Google only sees that StartPage is searching for something. We get the results, strip out the tracking cookies, and deliver completely private, anonymous search results to you. We never store your IP address or other personal information, and we never hand it off to Google. You remain completely invisible.

Every StartPage search offers a Proxy feature, which lets you visit websites anonymously by next to the search result.

If you care about your privacy, use DuckDuckGo.

If you really need to search Google, add !g to the beginning of your DuckDuckGo search to perform an encrypted Google search.

I feel much happier when I put Bing up on my homepage.  Their daily photos brighten my day.  I also don't have to worry about seeing something like "national marble collecting day" on Easter or something.

Bing's got a cool advent thing you click on every day.  It's just more fun.

Plus, if all my online searches are going to be spied upon and given out to research companies/the gov't, at least I'm going to make a little money off it. ($5 Amazon gift card every month ftw)

Yep, done with Google (at least from a search page/portal). That's below deplorable behavior.
