The Dim party is now the socialist party.
If burnout would have got the nod he would be prez right now |

You say "he destroyed the democratic party" like it's a bad thing.
|
|
he didn't, it just happened during his watch. It was a team effort.
|
|
and they're considering doubling down and naming a Muslim as head of DNC.

This has occurred to me before; FBO has pushed his agenda so fucking hard that he has poisoned the well.
He never had a thought to the future of his Party, it was all about him. On that note, I'll have a Coke. |

Just last week GD was saying the Republican Party was destroyed.
|
|
No,it was Hillary and her DNC. The only thing more bigly than her cuntitude is her hubris.
Sanders would very likely have had better turnout and won 2 out of WI,,MI,OH,PA. |

Give it a few years before you declare the Democratic Party dead. The same thing was said about the Republican party following the 2008 election.
|
|
|
The real problem for the democrats is that once they started handing out free shit ( FDR) AKA our tax money to "the needy" they had to keep doing more and more of it.
Now, there is no more "other people's money" to grab and give away. We have had enough of being legally robbed. And spit on! |
|
maybe hes secretly.....a Republican?
ha ha lol no but seriously, Rush said I hope he fails....and Rush was RIGHT! |

I would not get too smug.
The GOP was ejected from the WH, and reduced to minority status in the House and Senate, at the conclusion of both failed Bush presidencies. |

I can't figure out how they lost 9+ million votes in 8 years.
Wait, yeah I can... racism and sexism from the (D). Crazy right? |

I don't think he destroyed it so much as he fundamentally transformed it. It's now becoming a militant socialist party.

Dude is a shit-midas. Everything he touches turns to shit. Is there a single politician he has endorsed who has won their race?

at a party meeting on Thursday, a staffer named Zach yelled at Donna Brazile, who took over as chair following the resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz this summer.
"Why should we trust you as chair to lead us through this?" he said, according to HuffPo's Jennifer Bendery. He went on to accuse Brazile of having "backed a flawed candidate," Hillary Clinton, and having "plotted through this to support your own gain and yourself." "You are part of the problem," Zach reportedly said. View Quote Did Zach even make it home after that? |

The unintended consequences of embracing Marxism and socialism in the sixty and seventies.
They thought they could control it. Thought they could use them to keep themselves in power. The problem is that you can't control things in a democracy. You can only influence them. When you lose your influencing power, in this case free stuff, they don't do what you want anymore. They also tried to dilute and steer the message by saying they represented (and actually care) about the LGBTblahblahblahblah folks. The issue there is that trying accommodate every fringe and minority is impossible. Some of those issues and groups are naturally conflicting with each other So now the old guard is stuck. |

I'm not so sure. Had Obama been able to run for a third term, he would have probably won.

I've believed for awhile that the schism in the Republican party was a bit ahead of the one in the Democratic party. Looks like maybe that's playing out now.
The Republicans have a bench at this point, but no real star power leadership. The Democrats don't even have the bench, and the losses at the state levels really impose some hardship. Their most notable leaders are old. I don't want to get too cocky though, because all it takes is another sweet talking ideologue to get the votes on the left. All you need is the right feels. |

They just picked the worst possible candidate to hand the nomination to. Lucky for us. |
