Nobody can reasonably claim that Hillary did not give her election campaign 100% effort, and so nobody can fault her on that score.
Some of the CF 'donors" may have already received their quid pro quo, and so have no gripe. Others who "donated" certainly knew there was a certain risk involved, and will have factored that risk into the amount of the donation. I rather doubt Hillary is in danger, personally. That said, her looming problem is a likely total re-vamping of the US Justice dept, and losing her protectors there. In that case, there could be RICO indictments in the future, and quite possibly the server/e-mail business might be re-examined by people less likely to give her a pass. The Clintons might need a lot of that donated money for legal fees. |
