The idiots in San Francisco are idiots. I did catch that news about the town, so like most states California has cities, colleges and state capital vs rest but their numbers are big enough and NYC + San Francisco team up to pour $, media and political pressure on the non-blue parts remaining in California, so I assume the born in California conservatives will eventually be overrun without a lifeline or miracle. The recent gun control laws just keep coming, despite fighting hard against them, resisting them in court or ignoring them. Hoping Trump fed appt judges might help. |

The fix is simple change the law for people being in the country illegally to a class A or at least B felony, then arrest sanctuary city mayors and town council members for harboring know felons which I believe can net them up to 10 years in prison for every count and in most cases there would be 1000's of counts if not 10's of 1000's.
Do this in a few major cities like San Fransisco and LA and watch sanctuary cities disappear overnight. |

There isn't "immigration" in CA. It's an invasion by the 3rd World (legal and otherwise), and it's been exploited by leftist politicians who maintain their political power be allowing these hoards to swarm in. The private sector loves it because a surplus in the labor market there means lower operating costs and higher profit margins while the taxpayer subsidizes these low wage earners with food stamps, health care, and housing.
Other border states like AZ and TX push back against this invasion, but the demographics in CA have reached a tipping point. Too many foreign born residents vote, and the state that voted for lower taxes, against gun control and against gay marriage in the '80s and '90s will continue to be ruled by a one-party legislature until the residents there feel the pain and grow the balls to tell the courts to fuck off. If TX and AZ can resist, so can CA. They choose not to, and haven't since Gov. Wilson left office from what I can tell. |

Due to policies starting with W and the farm lobby simple things like interior transport (bus/train stations, etc) checks that used to net droves of illegals as they traveled between seasonal jobs have been stopped. My neighbor told me that just two BP agents would nab and deport 30 illegals about every two weeks that way. If they hit a dry spell they would hit where they congregated for day jobs. They were not issued shit, they were briefly held, loaded-up and deported. |

The liberals have been using big federal money to shape local/state policy for decades. Time to turn those captured cannons around. If you did pull fed funding in any area that was a functional"sanctuary city" that practice would end very quickly.

Regulations, taxation and a feeling of "you don't belong/are not welcome here anymore" are driving a lot of producers out. They are being backfilled by friends from points further south. Orange county was the last Republican holdout in southern California. For the most part, cost of living is too high for a lot of our guests from down south. San Diego has been blue since 2004.
