Is this the hands up video people referred to? It looks like he is throwing his hands straight up, but it also looks like he has something in his hand, possibly a gun. But that doesn't make sense because I thought authorities said he was reaching for a gun, not that he had one in his hand.

Something doesn't make sense. Maybe this isn't the guy who actually got shot? Article was interesting though, and very concerning. I'm coming in trying to make sense so someone correct me if I'm wrong

Well I can't find the original story, but the FBI guy was the one standing in the woods.  When Lavoy got out of the vehicle the FBI man fired two shots, one missing everything. the other broke the rear passenger window striking Bundy in the arm, and lodged in the roof.  The FBI agents (5 total) did not report firing the shots.  Later they removed the projectile and then replaced it.

Another OL article on the FBI

So let me get this straight about the courtroom incident.

The lawyer asked the Judge to see documentation showing his client was still legally in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service in a lawyer like fashion to be transported to another trial in NV.

While this occurred USMS Deputies approached the lawyer and his client.

The judge told the USMS Deputies to stop at some point (I would presume so the judge could explain something to the lawyer and client).

The USMS Deputies took down the lawyer anyway and used a Taser to subdue him.

No one was making a move to escape the courtroom or get crazy when this happened.

Do I have this correct?

If thats what really transpired, WTF?

Sounds fucky. He would have been in custody so there would be no need to have him mobbed to extradite him to Nevada. He would have been escorted to whatever facility he was being held at and extradited from there because Nevada would have placex a hold on him. At least if it was being done professionally.

There is an undercurrent of disenfranchisement among large sectors of the public that many don't seem to comprehend.

It goes beyond being pissed off.

People believe their votes, their rights, and their money have been stolen from them dishonestly.  They believe that they have no say in their own lives, that their leaders are dishonest and are not rightfully elected in some cases.

It is similar to pre civil way...Lincoln did some dirty shit to get elected and was not even on the ballot in most southern states.  Thus, the people of those states did not see him as rightfully elected and as such, his laws were unjust.

We all know what happened.

If the people don't trust the election, they will not follow the laws of the elected leaders.  They will morally see them as unjust and wrong...they will disobey.

A good number of people are seeing it that way.

Maybe they should do their jobs without violating people's rights and while staying within the confines of the Constitution..And that includes the agent that fired two rounds off at a man who was zero threat with arms in the air..then hiding evidence and lying about it...in this exact case...
Or should we talk about the roaches that would not arrest a politician for treason and all sorts of other charges, when they had incontributable proof of wrong doing?   As in the FBI and Clinton emails..
Goverment has no right to expect us to back their rule of law when it is corrupt based on our Constitution, and they actively pervert it to protect their own at their own wish, but then utterly crush a lesser mans world for even minor infractions compared to their own.

Fuck, no. Taser is pretty high up on the force continuum, not far off from using a firearm, and not necessary since the guy wasn't a threat, nor was he being arrested for anything. The Marshalls rushed the attorney and dog piled him while the Judge was ordering them to stand down.

Based on the facts given, they are guilty of:

A) Contempt of Court.

B) Assault with a deadly weapon.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/jury-acquits-leaders-oregon-standoff-federal-charges-43119277

The leaders of an armed group who seized a national wildlife refuge in rural Oregon were acquitted Thursday in the 41-day standoff that brought new attention to a long-running dispute over control of federal lands in the U.S. West.

Tumult erupted in the courtroom after the verdicts were read when an attorney for group leader Ammon Bundy demanded his client be immediately released, repeatedly yelling at the judge. U.S. marshals tackled attorney Marcus Mumford to the ground, used a stun gun on him several times and arrested him.

U.S. District Judge Anna Brown said she could not release Bundy because he still faces charges in Nevada stemming from an armed standoff at his father Cliven Bundy's ranch two years ago.

Closest account I see now, earlier was reading that he would not settle down.  <<shrug>>

I stick by it. The whole ordeal was a stupid move. Bundy Ranch? Ok, I get where they're coming from. Defending your property and all that makes for great PR, and seeing people drawing down on the feds amused me. Malheur? The derp train had no brakes. Now that I know the .gov informants were between 30-50% of the group, I think that might've been intentional. I suspect they instigated and encouraged this stupid idea.

Hehehe, a taser is not a deadly force item.

I want to see these guys go free if the court finds them innocent.

The attorney sounds like he was out of line yelling at the judge. If he was repeatedly told to calm down and did not, it is called disorderly conduct and he may have deserved that tasing.

Somewhere, in there, should be inserted, 'The lawyer started hollering, and carrying on, and, wouldn't settle down and listen to the Judge'.  From what I've read on it, any ways.

Facts are irrelevant, you'll cause confusion.

The ballot box...

The Jury box...

The ammo box...

I hope this nation heals soon.  We must have integrity in the electoral process.  We can't function without it.  People won't trust the system without it.

Did he possibly go full sovereign citizen? I seem to recall that one of their lawyers was such a beast.

No. People are pissed. All bets are off If this election looks like it had been rigged after all is said and done. I wish it weren't so.

At this point, I don't think anyone figures the election won't be rigged. They're just hoping Trump supporters are numerous enough to overwhelm the fraud margin.
