and putting all those VOCs and CO in the air by burning their huts. Ironic, huh? Water protectors.... "We are here to protect the water! The air? Well that negotiable." I am reading that the assholes at the camp managed to injure two children, Well one for sure. A 7 Y/O and a 17 Y/O were burned in the fires and explosions at the camp today. The 17 year old girl was airlifted. |

Nice... A Celebrity call out in the local rag. "Hey Shailene Woodley, come back to North Dakota and clean up your mess" http://www.inforum.com/opinion/columns/4219238-port-hey-shailene-woodley-come-back-north-dakota-and-clean-your-mess "If Shailene Woodley, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Matthews, Jane Fonda, and the rest of the activist celebrities (as if there were another kind these days) mean what they say about the environment then let them come back to North Dakota, put on some work gloves, and clean up the mess. They promoted this cause. They helped inspire activists from around the nation — many of the violent extremists — to join the camps here in North Dakota. They told us they were standing with Standing Rock. So prove it." http://www.inforum.com/sites/default/files/styles/full_1000/public/fieldimages/1/0216/future-use-021417-nws-camp11.jpg?itok=GXk83Qz2 View Quote I want to go just to snag some of the teepees |

From the livestream dude, paraphrased:
"They didn't start arresting people until about 4pm, it was mostly journalists, one had his hip broke he was taken down so hard" I'm sure the "Journalists" were out of the way and complying with orders the whole time, too. Said Wisconsin police were doing most of the arrests, directed by ND with the National Guard present, no clue if that's accurate. |

There are police from all over the Midwest there, I have personally seen SD, WI, MT and WY and a lot of unmarked black cars. |

I wonder if any local guys have worked a deal to haul off anything salvageable? Too bad we didn't think ahead and get a group of local Arfcommers to travel up with trucks and trailers, they'd probably get some decent lumber, tents and abandoned camping gear.

I wonder how many "news sites" are going to try to sell that as the police burning their trash that was of no harm?
The livestream dude was all "and this pipeline company has a bad history of leaks, and it's going under the river, which could effect the reservation. Since it doesn't go across the reservation itself, but it does go over a corner of area covered in the treaty, it could effect their water... " Then as an afterthought he added "And probably millions more downstream". He apparently doesn't know about the other pipelines and shit going under the Missouri at various points, I'm guessing, and has tunnel vision on how to spin this as hurting injuns when it was mostly palefaces left. |

they will never see themselves for what they are...zero ability for self reflection or self criticism and won't even see it when you rub their noses in it.

As you see in the picture... fully stocked kitchens and a shit load of food wasted. I cannot find the video anywhere now. But the other day there was a video up that showed reasons that the protest was not about water. There was a row of what looked like 15 to 20 bison carcasses butchered and layed out in the camp. Gee I wonder where they got those.... |

Glad they finally put an end to their BS. I hope those arrested get life in prison.

Why doesn't ND just sue the people encouraging the protesters to congregate and riot to cover costs of cleanup and law enforcement?
It'd be real nice to see the hollywood types having to pay for the mess they helped create. Along with anybody else who was in charge of gathering rioters. |
