I've met a bunch. I just slept at the house if an arfcommer in Inglewood before catching a flight out if LAX. Several have crashed at my place while rolling through town on vacation or in town for work stuff. I hopped in the car of an arfcommer I had only exchanged 3 PMs with and drove for 8 hours to CWE. There is an arfcommer on the other side of the state with the keys to my house. And another that employs me when he hosts machine gun shoots.
So far most of them have been somewhere between cool and normal, but I also try to get a read on the guy before I meet them. The only two arfcommers that have my address and also might be serial killers are Trojy and IWK. |
|
I've met probably 10 to 20 arfcommers. Everyone has been cool.

I have meet a couple over the years. Fo the number of members, I am surprised I don't run into more.
|
|
I've met about a dozen, I even guided one and his family at a local museum when I was volunteering there last summer. Everyone of them has been pretty cool.

I've met a bunch...some cool..some meh..... The ines I have meet where 50/50. Some awesome guys some complete nutjobs. Nothing in between. With the user name "PenisWrinkle" I can only imagine which ones you thought were nutjobs. The ink blot username outs another one. I've e met a few, hung out with a few on more than one occasion. All are cool people. Not sure how they perceive me though. I'm probably one of the weird annoying guys.

Last HTF shoot some had the audacity to complain that my chili didn't have beans, so they can fuck right off

Met one that I know of. He handed me a gun.
I assume pretty much any local not in a Prius is one or is married to one. If there was any one I could meet by choice it would be SnowLeopard. I just wanna know. |

I met one that I know of. He was cool. Made me a decent deal on a pistol.

Twice. Once with a face-to-face EE transaction. Once at a CNC/machining open house. This guy was demo'ing using his CNC for building AR's so I asked him what his screen name was. Turned out he used to be an arfcommer, but got perma-banned due to his 'how-to' threads/videos he was posting with his CNC machining projects. Mods saw it as soliciting his products and services.

I've puked with~70 arfcommers and hung out away from CW with 5

Until today, I'd never met an arfcomer in person without seeking them out. (CWE 4 nonwithstanding)
I was standing outside with two other people, drinking coffee from my peep and crossbones tumbler, and someone asked "Is that a peep?" and I said "yeah, with crossbones." The non-arfcomer said "oh, that makes it better." The arfcomer said "That just means he can chug." And we didn't say another word, lol. |

I met a young college couple (boyfriend & girlfriend) and they came to my local range. Both were new(ish) to guns but very safe and knew what they were doing. Both were good, level-headed kids. Good to see that in today's society. |

I've met one. I lived with him for a while, but I moved out a few years ago.

I've met 4 in person, good friends with another.
When I was working at my last job on Naval Station Norfolk from 2010-2015 I saw no less than six cars or trucks with a BFL on them, never met who ever they were. |

I see a truck with a BFL about once a week or so. I decided to try and talk to him once, he was polite enough, but I'm not sure he appreciated me just walking up to him and talking guns with him....or maybe just because I'm popo

I have met about 20...most were great guys...
One was stuck up and would not even shake my hand. |

I've met some(80+) very cool MFers from here, I've seen many question life as they spew!

Never met any and only seen one BFL in the wild. Was a white 4 runner crossing the Lincoln bridge going back to Indiana.
I was excited but had no way to talk to the guy. |
|
I'd say I've met about 25-30ish, maybe more.
There's a lot of members that prefer to drop off cerakote projects in person to avoid shipping though, so it's a bit different than most cases. |
|
|
There are a few here in town.
One that I met in person, was cool, went shooting a few times, had him and his family over for dinner. But he kind of dropped off the map. Haven't seen him on here or heard from him in years. The other is a cool regular poster here in GD. We just haven't had the chance to meet up. From the Charlotte riot threads, there are probably 20 or more active posters within an hour drive from me. |

Before I caught the disease I was asking someone technical questions about AR's early in my first AR ownership. He told me about this place as a great resource for info if you manage to avoid all the stupid bullshit. That was 3 years ago and we see each other on a fairly regular basis.
We haven't talked about it since, and I've never inquired as to his screen name. Don't know if I want to know. |

We'd be shocked how many haven't been out of moms basement since they finished High School. and can fold a tin hat one handed in the dark . and own tactical gear they would wear as a space shuttle door gunner.

I've met a bunch, nice guys, with the occasional weirdo thrown in.
|
|
where are you in NY?
I'll pick up the crab meat if you set up the trains |
|
I've met a bunch; I was at several of the Bulletfests at Campybob's. I've also met a few on FTF deals. Most seemed like really good guys. A few were weirdos (Taxman and the guy who killed his GF and himself with his AUG). Only one or two stand out as being people I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire. |
