Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Water main floods trench in Boston, killing worker

Fire department spokesman Steve MacDonald says a worker became trapped in the 20-foot-wide trench when the water main broke Friday afternoon. He says a recovery effort is continuing and it's not yet clear if other workers were in the trench when it was flooded.
