I have a person on my FB page who says that these firearms belong to her brother.

The M249 looks Airsoft to me as well several of the other guns in the pic.

Evidently her brother is a former Marine and according to her she has seen all of these guns and she says they are real.

I could be wrong, but I just wanted a second opinion.

Thanks in advance...

UPDATE: I messaged her and she got back to me. Evidently she thinks that her brother sent her that pic because of OPSEC and he didn't want to send her a pic of the guns he actually owns. She also said that he does have real firearms that she's seen and fired so that part is true.

I've known her for sometime and she is a a Patriot. I don't think she intentionally meant any misrepresentation, she just posted what her brother sent her.

Thanks for all the responses.

Lol, fake.

Buffer tube on m4 looks like it has a hole in it. Mp5 magesizne is not correct. Shotgun shells on the carriers has brass that looks dull and plastic.

Can't really tell because the pic is a bit to dark.

All the guns execpt the shotgun look a off to me.

Missing buffertube, fatter stocks to keep batteries, slightly thcker grips to house motors?

Brass filling valve under some of the pistol mags (cant really tell but it looks a bit like it)

Pic so shitty, the guns look like superimposed crops. But the shadows are too good for the shitty crop, so the pic is real, IMO. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference from that low-res pic given how good airsoft clones are.

Besides that the whole photo seems a bit "off". They look like they're floating above the carpet. But it might just be an illusion due to the light source.

I don't see anything that is obviously fake. Is the scrutiny because the M249? They've been selling semi auto versions of those for a while now.

The only thing that stands out to me is that there is no stamp on the left side of the receivers of those AR-15's. That is unusual.

EDIT: Ah, stock photo...

There is the leg of a Bowflex or weightbench in the upper right corner. The scale of it's size makes me want to say these are miniatures. Look at the grain of the carpet fiber too.

I never meant for this to be a troll thread.

There is a woman on my FB page who claims that her brother has a lot of guns and she claims to have seen them (the ones in the pic I posted).

I raised a 'respectful' BS Flag after she posted that pic and she stated that the guns in the pic belonged to her brother and that he is a Former Marine.

I haven't heard back from her yet.

I just felt that making a thread here would give me some ammunition (so to speak) if the pic that she posted was disputed.

I appreciate all the comments.

First, it's a borrowed image.  That pic was not taken by the sister or brother.

Second, the 416 lower is all kinds of wrong.  The magwell has really thick walls.  The 249, resting on the ammo box, isn't depressing the carpet.  It's way too light to be real.

The color of every single one of those is the exact same.... because they're all made of plastic. No way would that many different guns by that many different makers be the exact same color.

Hell, even the plastic hand guards are the same color as the anodized metal parts and they all have a sheen.

If you look at the bottom of the handgun magazines you can even see the port that they each have for filling the gas canister.

The M249 is 100% airsoft.

first, I've never seen an actual M249 with a silver gas block but most telling is if you look under the ammo belt you will see a small grey tube that feeds bb's into the mag port

Just look at the bottom of the pistol grips the bottom of the magazines. You'll see a little holes that's the fill for the gas on the pistols. On the rifles the pistol grips: the two screws designate where the motor for the airsoft weapon is.

Its airsoft.
