I have long admired 10mm. I would like to buy something diferent. I have revolvers in 44 357 45acp and 500. I have glock in 9 40 and 45. I would really like a sw 610 or a gp100 conversion but I cant find or justify the cost. Glocks are easy to find but all the same.  Is the colt delta worth a grand. I could get a ria in 10 for half that. Is the colt still the high qualiy. am i missing anything.

A G29SF is my CCW. I opted for something small and compact. The G20 with a longer barrel gives you the full potential of a 10mm though.

its just a fun gun. not to ccw. Leaning toward the ria. budget needs to stay under 1200. I love the glocks but they are just all the same

They're all the same until you fire a mag of 220 grain hardcast through one...

I think you can get a longer barrel for the G29.  I like the G29 for a woods gun.  It is a handful to shoot though.

I picked up a Glock 20sf last Friday. I had been wanting one for years and it's my new woods carry. I'm really liking it so far.

EAA Witness 10mm elite match Match quality gun, super accurate, best for range trips and shooting the mild to warm factory ammo, with occasional heavy stuff.  Get heavier wolf springs if shooting hotter ammo.

1911 10mm.  IMHO not as handy. .38 Super is way more awesome in a 1911.

GLOCK 20, great for if you're going to reload, or shoot hot ammo a lot. I know guys with first gens that have had a steady diet of nightmare hot loads and the things have held up for decades. Best if your'e looking for the most durable option.

FWIW RIA makes good guns so if you want a cheap piece to bang around to feed the need they are perfect for it!

Of note this is an older one pictured, the newer ones have a rail and different grip panels as well as a more "tactical" sight or whatever.

I personally think the version pictured is the better of the two.

Also, they have sweet, sweet, SAO triggers.

And IMO the fit and finish on the DW 1911s these days is unmatched by any other non custom gun maker

For those recommending the EAA witness, what is the fit/finish/quality on par with the CZ line?
