Wait, we're bashing on Trump for being nice to Putin because Putin was nice to him? When Crooked Hillary has literally been selling influence and even uranium to the Russians and God knows what else to them and the Chinese. And you pull one comment or another out of context and go ape-shit on Trump? You people are PATHETIC. Remember, Crooked Hillary is the one taking money from the Saudis, the Chinese, and the Russians - Trump isn't. Remember, Crooked Hillary is the one taking money from Wall Street and hedge fund managers - Trump isn't. Remember, Crooked Hillary is the one who want MORE IMMIGRANTS from Syria and other hellholes with no screening - Trump doesn't. Remember, Crooked Hillary is the one who wants to keep pissing away TRILLIONS of dollars in failed Middle Eastern policies, meddling, and "regime change" - Trump doesn't. Yeah, I think I know who I'd rather vote for between a corrupt as hell politician with a 35 year record of failure - or a man who has built a successful business empire. Bill Clinton paid of the Norks to not build a bomb and they took our money, said fuck you and built a bomb or several. Iran is going to do the same thing, I'm no foreign policy genius but I'd think someone on Trumps team would point out this little tidbit to the man.

Quoted: The Crimeans have always aligned with Russia, nobody who lives there is complaining about the annexation. And Russians have lived under socialism since the revolution, it's normal to them. Remember, the place is a vast wilderness. Putin is a good leader for them, and he takes advantage of opportunities for Russia when they present themselves. I respect him. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Creepy level of Putin smooching tonight But Putin has been systematically limiting the freedoms of the people of Russia and has invaded Crimea. Why praise him? I am utterly shocked that you feel that way. Although the constitution provides for freedom of speech, vague laws on extremism grant the authorities great discretion to crack down on any speech, organization, or activity that lacks official support. The government controls, directly or through state-owned companies and friendly business magnates, all of the national television networks and many radio and print outlets, as well as most of the media advertising market. These media effectively serve as venues for Kremlin propaganda, which vociferously backs Putin’s actions in Ukraine and denounces foreign and domestic opponents. In February, Putin signed a law that increased the penalties for "extremism,” adding to an array of restrictions that can be used against activists and NGOs. Groups that investigated Russian aggression in Ukraine and the death of Russian soldiers there faced particular pressure from the authorities during the year. A law enacted in 2012 required all organizations receiving foreign funding and involved in vaguely defined "political activities” to register as "foreign agents” with the Justice Ministry. After organizations refused to register voluntarily, Putin in June 2014 signed a law allowing the Justice Ministry to put them on the list at its discretion. Even though the Russian constitution gives each citizen the right to freely leave and enter the country, more than four million employees tied to the military and security services were banned from leaving under rules issued during 2014. Often employees who are not themselves banned from travel feel obliged not to go abroad because they would be out of step with colleagues. In June Putin signed a law forcing citizens to disclose any dual citizenship, and in October Russia withdrew from a long-standing U.S. student exchange program. |

Rt claims that Russia has loosened up on allowing carrying firearms but they're just propanganda, so I don't know that I buy it. Mostly Russia allows long guns, they have to be registered, stored in certain ways I think ( I doubt that happens outside big cities), not sure about handguns. There's a book about some Russian game wardens hunting a man eating tiger that's pretty good. They only casually mention it, but it seems like hunting long guns are allowed but are controlled by the government. |
