Yeah buddy, right.

I do not shoot well, but learned most people can't back up what they claim. Any time I hear some BS claim I go I am free Sunday lets shoot. No one ever takes me up.

I think he means feet, not yards. The variance in wind stated given would result in uncompensated wind drift at that range. Or that target is the result of 5 mag dumps.

Facebook as about as believable as Yahoo Answers when it comes to any serious subject.

The first thing he should do is buy a lottery ticket and some condoms.
Because he is either the luckiest son of a bitch or the dumbest. |

Someone lied on the internet about their shooting ability.
Im shocked |

Lol, no.
If he would have said Mk262, from a Mk12 clone, or a M110 clone with hand loads, with a 5kt R to L wind, yeah. The ridiculous caliber and crosswind claims is just |

Nobody is shooting that group at 350 with wind that is constantly changing from 20-35mph with ANY cartridge.
Bull. Shovelin'. |

maybe he walked the 350 yards in the wind to poke holes in the paper with his pen?

My .177 Gamo pellet rifle can shoot dimes at 1000 yards. Shit, just take your time, if you feel yourself start to move take your finger off the trigger, take another deep breath and try again.

I wouldn't go so far as to say common, seeing as how the ammo itself is universally considered 2 to 2.5 MOA ammo before taking into account the abilities of the rifle and equipment. |

How many times have you seen the internet commandos right here on Arfcom claim that they can shoot 1 M.O.A. groups with their rusty surplus rifles, gritty triggers, iron sights and ammunition left over from WWII?
A few years ago I stirred up a hornet's nest here by offering a hundred-dollar wager that no one could put five consecutive rounds into an inch at a hundred yards with an unmodified service rifle and standard ball ammo. Lots of bullshitters huffed and puffed about their "honor", but of course none of them ever actually put any money on it. |

I have a coworker, who claims that he routinely shoots the tails off the zip ties on the paper target at 100 yards, with his bolt action CZ .22 rifle. I told him, that it was just pure luck, and not repeatable; said coworker speaks to me no more....

Years ago when I lived in Arizona I shot my XP-100 out to 600 yards at Ben Avery(then Black Canyon) Shooting Range.
Chambered in 7mmTCU on calm days it is an MOA gun to 200 yards. At 300 the drop starts getting, uh, noticeable. At 600 I was aiming at a rock on the hillside behind the target. A good 10 feet over the target. As I recall, only about half the rounds impacted the three FOOT diameter bullseye. And I was good with that pistol. I shot it almost every week for several years. 120gr Hornady flat base over 29.7gr Win 748 w/ Fed BR Primers in Federal brass. |
|
I can shoot better groups at 500 with my HiPoint. The gangsta grip eliminates bullet drop.

Had a guy swear up and down once that he routinely head-shot squirrels at 300 yards with a .22 rimfire.
