Just found this while goofing off on YouTube. Anyone use it? I'm thinking about picking one up and mounting it under my bed.
Ideas? ARMA-15 Locking Wall Mount |

What's the "slow to load" bit matter? My HD AR doesn't get moved once secured, except for those rare times I decide to take it to the range. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Meh, slow to load, slow to open, expensive for what it is. What's the "slow to load" bit matter? My HD AR doesn't get moved once secured, except for those rare times I decide to take it to the range. An HD weapon locked with the magazine removed? Good luck finding the key, and getting a mag inserted after you've managed to wake up in the middle of the night. |

I wake up fully alert if my wife farts in bed. |

Say you have 3 intruders one with a long gun kick in your door and start looking for people, will you be able to unlock and load the gun in time? This type of home invasion happens often enough. |

View Quote It might happen often where you live, and this wouldn't be a product for you. Where I live, home invasions only happen to those who are already involved somewhere in the drug trade. My neighborhood is not one of those areas, and this might be a useful product to have my HD easily accessible to me, but not so much to my 3 year old. |

View Quote I have one of these and agree. I bought mine supposedly returned (didn't have the packaging) from the amazon warehouse deals for around $160 IIRC. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Can you mount it with a light on the left side of bbl? Having the shotgun one I can say lights on the wall side are a super tight fit, and would greatly depend on the light. ETA and how it is mounted. |

but you can always flip the lock, the numbers on the cypher are upside down but it still works!

This is probably a better "keep the kids out of your stuff" if you own your house and can cut out some drywall between the studs:
http://m.homedepot.com/p/Stack-On-Long-Gun-Wall-Safe-with-Electronic-Lock-PWS-1555/207107091?MERCH=RV-_-rv_mobileweb_rr-1-_-NA-_-207107091-_-N ShotLock is better if you can't do an in-wall safe for whatever reason. I have both (in addition to a real safe). They both have their uses. FWIW, Home Despot shipped that in-wall to my house on a pallet with delivery by liftgate truck for free. The closest Home Depot to me is 45 minutes away so that made it a pretty good deal (even with state sales tax of 7% included). Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Bump. If anyone is interested in the AR ShotLock, DVOR has them today for $166.50. I'm not affiliated, just passing on a deal for a recently discussed product. Amazon.com usually has them listed for about $200.
