Next on the CA ban list, "gator guns".

Awesome! Are all those scales paint or are they carved in as well?
7/28/2016 11:25:51 AM EST
[#17]
That took some real talent. Also, I think it looks terrible.
7/28/2016 11:26:09 AM EST

That's a very well done custom Mosin. Cooler than the tactical assault Mosin attempts.

This and this.

That's talent way beyond my capabilities, and its also something I wouldn't do, ever.

I'd imagine a klansman would use that as a dowsing rod.

With over 60,000,000 Mosins built I think this one stands out as the most unique.
Thanks for all the feedback.
I've had so much fun with this project.
Next up, Mossberg 500 stock.

I am not a fan of the look but, i can respect the talent and craftsmanship that went into creating it. You have skill with wood working and paint.

That was a lot of work put in, good job.

Here's the thing, it started out as a mosin, so it's going to be hard to make it look any worse than it was to begin with(short of smearing it with feces).
So the work certainly didn't take anything away from the original, and there is a ton of detail work done, whether you're in to crocs or not, the thing looks a 1000x better than if I'd have tried to do it. ...and as previously stated, at least it isn't some plastic Tapco bullshit.
I suspect the pics don't do it justice either, I'm kind of curious about how it looks in person, and feels in hand.
