We are very close to implementing MFA (Multi Factor Authentication). Starting off, it will be a simple emailed verification link and we will be adding in app integration down the line (I believe the plan is to integrate with multiple apps so you can choose the one you like - more info on this down the line). You will soon see a notification to validate your email address. This is to ensure that the email tied to your account is active and accessible. PLEASE CONFIRM THE EMAIL ADDRESS ON YOUR ACCOUNT IS ACCURATE AND ACCESSIBLE! You can update this in the "Contact Info" tab in the account setting area. We will have more info on this coming soon! ETA - if you dismiss he prompt, you should see it again every 24 hours until you are verified. |

a bit hit or miss. i have a custom hosts file that blocks a lot of sites, i run adblockers and java script blockers. my default email web browser is not the browser i use for most sites. got the prompt, got the email, clicked on the thingy and result was upset. if this works i guess i made it past the grues |

Which is understandable. Other times, the provider is just straight up blocking our emails. Which also happens. Not sure which it is, in your case. |
| I have a question. I surf Arf a lot at my work, which does not allow "social media". So, I use the "covert" link to American Medical. Will this one require an authenticator to my email, because I have two-factor with my email and I cannot use it at work - no cell phones allowed. Catch 22 in this case. |

I have taken care of this...so far. I have no idea what MFA is or how complicated this is going to get. Old guy shouting at the clouds. Much more that pushing the power button is beyond my skill set. If I am lost in the electrons...it's been fun being on this site! |

I clicked the link about 10 minutes ago, got a success message but no email link. I use juno webmail and more times than not they just don't send any of these types of emails. Sometimes I get them 3 or 4 hours later and the sender then rejects my response. If it comes this evening or later i will respon ASAP, but if I need to go through this regularly I am in trouble. I think the idea is great but my webmail address is problematic. I have had the same address since 1992. ETA no email in the junk file either. EDIT #2: I got this link 20 minutes after I clicked the arfcom test link: Attached File Ao I am getting the link, just real slow. Strange it sends me the thread updates immediately but delays the invite. |
