Hell, our little 10 pound male house cat has zero fear of anything, will stalk you, flank you, ambush you, jump, climb, has attitude, and it fast as lightning.
I can only imagine him literally 50 times larger. No thanks. |

She turned her back to the cat. That is an invitation for attack. Notice that when she faces the cat for a brief moment the cat almost hesitates, ducks it's head when she looks.
Ultimately the cat was committed to grabbing her at that point but it's clear it was, for a brief millisecond, uncertain at the moment of truth. If you watch the animal planet channel or similar, cats attacking other prey are far more viscous in the initial attack. |
