No sensible person could have reached such a conclusion. Really? OTOH, I made a lot of money suing people like the Senator's supporters. They thought they were entitled to breach contracts whenever they wanted to and also thought they should not suffer the consequences.
I suspect that the Senator is going to learn the same rude lesson those people learned. The lesson began when thousands of Republican activists repudiated him for breaching his contract. And then: Make sure you identify yourself as a supporter of the Senator.

There are several Trump guys who constantly allude to being "in the know" about politics, business, personal relationships with candidates, etc.
None of them ever back any of their assertions to having secret or privileged information up. It's a tactic someone who can't articulate or defend his position or belief in a cogent manner might resort to in an attempt to add credibility to whatever garbage he's frantically smacking out on his keyboard. |
