i orbited the park and on my way out past the other gym, I see its under attack and the slot is still open. As I walk by, I see 2 guys tapping on their screens like maniacs. The gym had a 800 magmar and a 900 syther in place, so I dropped in my 2300 snorlax and kept walking. "hey, where did that snorlax come from?" Asshole. So what does that make me when I sit and watch it level down? Then when it goes blank drop something in before they can. Camper. Camper asshole? Or is that redundant? I had someone drop a weedle in a gym I beat |

I have another gym question. I was fighting a gym today and was not able to choose the pokemon I wanted to fight with. When you fight it shows 6 pokemon. Are those the ones pre-chosen for you? I wanted to swap out to my Vaporeon but wasn't able to.

Is an Electrobuzz nest something good to find? I found 8 of them at once at a local rodeo arena. There are 3 of them there at once right now.

To find a nest was pretty astonishing. Same thing happened to me. I hadn't seen an Electrobuzz the first month of playing and then I finally caught one. After not seeing any for the next month when the 2nd migration hit there was a nest close to me. It was pretty cool at first, but it got old fast. It's kind of like Hitmochan and Hitmolee. After you get one for the dex there's not really much point in getting more beyond the small amount of xp and dust you get for catching it. Unless of course it just happens to be one of your favorite pokemon and you want to power it up. |

No matter how bad you think your current egg stock is, take comfort in knowing it can't possibly be worse than mine. http://i.imgur.com/2iIJ77Xl.png View Quote Mine looked like that for about a month used my entire $5 monthly Pokémon budget that I set for myself on incubators....it still looks like that. Funny thing though I started with a "throw away" account just to see how it works since there wasn't any type of manual. It looks to me like what team you choose has an effect on what you get from pokestops. Since I still use the old one for an uncle I get to see the 2k and 10k eggs he gets. I walk his eggs and take gyms for him since he has trouble with that (75, had a stroke, and had a broken hip) he just likes playing in the car...I drive him around at old lady speed too when there aren't any cars on the road here |

My son wanted to start over, so we started a new account on his iPad. He immediately put out an incense and caught a Snorlax. Doesn't even have a Ratata but has a Snorlax and a Weeping Bell.

I wish they applied the same xp bonus to dust. So you get 100dust for a catch. It would be nice if you get +10 for a nice throw, +50 for great and +100 for excellent and +10 for curve ball.

No snorlax, dragonite or lapras. Or muk. Have 300 coins (takes forever to get them here). 3rd backpack upgrade, 1st mon storage upgrade, or 2 incubators? |

Bag storage will depend on your local area and how many stops you have access to. The fewer stops you have access to the larger your bag space should be so you can load up when you have the chances. |

I picked up another shit for stats Snorlax last night. You're not missing out. Thank God for their candy. View Quote Same here. It's IV's weren't completely horrible (around 50%), but it was a lvl 3. I got one last week that had 87% IV's, but considering it was a lvl 7 it wouldn't have mattered if it was 100%. |
|
[#39]
Speaking of IV's, I think some people are putting way too much stock in them. Yes, they matter, but the only time they really come into play is when you max out the pokemon or plan to max it out. More often than not people would be better off just going with the higher cp (assuming the movesets are the same or similar). A lvl 25 Snorlax with 50% IV's is much better as is than the same Snorlax with 100% IV's at lvl 15.
Even if you max them out the difference between a 100% pokemon and a 50% pokemon is pretty small (about 5%, IIRC). |

I'm sick and tired of spending 150 pokecoins on something that speeds up the hatching of a Venonat, Bellsprout, and Nidoran just so I get 3 new eggs that give me a Goldeen, Krabby, and Weedle. |

One of the Old Chicago's in my city has three pokestops you can reach when you are sitting at the bar drinking beer or if you are in the courtyard behind it that serves alcohol. Usually all three are filled with lure modules.
