How many eggs did you get for those two? I've caught 22 bulbasaurs and 13 squirtles, but I've only seen a single charmander in the wild. Of course there are people that have caught 20+ charmanders and haven't even seen a bulbasaur and/or squirtle. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Haven't seen a wild charmander yet. Glad I picked him as my starting Pokemon.

Certain pokemon are definitely more plentiful (or nonexistent) in certain areas. I was level 21 and had never seen a single Voltorb, not even on the nearby screen.
Went to a park that's 15 mins away with some friends, and caught 3 in the first 5 mins. They had been to the park a few times before and said they're always there. |

View Quote I have found a park here that has 6 Scyther spawn points. Another park has 6 Dratini spawn points. Another park spawns Magmar all the time. Another park has 4-5x Electrabuzz spawn points. Really forces you to go to different parts of your town/city to get certain things. I am going to keep working the Dratini park for a while, but definitely need to visit the Scyther one too. Edit: I still haven't seen a Voltorb in the wild either, hatched 1 though. |

Can confirm "let the phone sit there" works for egg hatch distance. Commercial GPS jitter slowly but surely ticked off mileage this morning. Plugged my phone in and set in the phone options not to sleep or turn of the screen. Put some post-its on the screen so it doesn't look like I'm playing a game when the phone is just sitting there doing nothing. Picked up a 0.5-0.75 miles from ~0800-1200. Not bad at all.
