Big ass hurricane followed by tornado.
|
|
I almost burned to death when my ex wife tried to murder me...
Lived through Katrina... Almost lost my home in the Woodmen Fire... Bring it. |
|
I am on the southern coast of Flordia, hit by one decent hurricane since I've been here. So a big nasty one is the most realistic.

I live in fla so Hurricanes
I have been through 19 hurricanes(biggest was Hugo) and 2 typhoons in my life so I give them respect. and as far south as I am now I know i won't even be able to evacuate |
|
Having been through a few of them including the 2011 'Nadermania in North Alabama I am going solidly with Tornado's. I've had nightmares about them.

Tornado while asleep, followed by a fire that isolated a kids bedroom.

Earthquake. It's because of where I live now, the ring of fire. Grew up in the midwest, obviously.........you know a storm is coming, by the weather. The damn earthquake just happens. I remember the Nisqually earthquake in 2001, my first. Asphalt parking lots are not supposed to move like sine waves . No notice for earthquake. Do not like.

Where I live it's a tornado or other severe weather first. I'm also just outside of a flood plain so that would be second. Of course a meteor landing on my neighborhood would be kind of bad too.

Tick Tock......... And will undoubtedly be followed by widespread flooding and fires. |

When I was little, I grew up near a creek that left its bank quite often. Was never so glad we moved and I was only 6 at the time. High Flooding water scares the hell out of me, you never know whats underneath.

Where I live it is the Tornado. Very minimal time to shelter and live in tornado alley and the last F5 hit here was early 70's so we are definitely due for another big one. Past several years they have all been in OK and just waiting for that shit to hit here.

CME borne EMP.
Don't particularly care for the mankind version EMP which is becoming more likely , but question referenced something natural. |

American Balkanization, and my state making a shitty decision.

Woodmen fire? The Black Forest fire? I don't know which was spookier, the Waldo Gulch fire, or the BF fire. I was closer to the BF fire. I suppose the Hayman fire was worse than either of the above, all three dropped ashes/cinders in my yard. The Hayman fire was the farthest away of the three, 50 miles or so. Here's a five day time lapse of the Waldo Canyon fire, it was freaky: http://youtu.be/ZBA7eHY022k View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Floods. Something about being helplessly adrift among fallen trees and other debris and being unable to reach solid ground.
Being trapped below decks on a sinking ship too. |
