In my opinion...
The reason there is apathy is because nothing happens. There is no retribution, no evening of the score. ISIS cuts off heads. Nothing happens. ISIS blows up bombs at airports. Nothing happens. ISIS shoots up buildings. Nothing happens. ISIS does not appear to suffer any severe consequences for their deeds. Ergo, apathy; nothing will happen to them so why should I get bent out of shape. |

The fact that that didn't happen is a travesty. I blame President Bush, and President Obama. Both of whom have the responsibility to set aside these petty political issues and achieve their primary duty of keeping Americans safe. |
