Fool me once!

Eagles without the mad scientist don't interest me.  Cowboys or Niners or something else interesting and I'm game.

Jaguars RB Denard Robinson and a female passenger drove into a pond and went to sleep

http://jacksonville.com/sports/football/jaguars/2016-07-05/story/jaguars-rb-denard-robinson-found-asleep-wheel-car-retention#.V3wqjf78NVs.twitter

The responding officer arrived at the pond near Beach and Southside boulevards about 4:20 a.m. after the crash was reported and noticed both people inside appeared to be asleep, according to the report.

The driver’s side of the car was submerged in the pond, so the officer approached the passenger side and knocked on the window to wake the two up, according to the report.

The report said Robinson then “opened his eyes and then went back to sleep.”

The officer continued to knock on the window until the passenger, 29-year-old Marissa O. Staples of Cincinnati, said “what’s up,” according to the report.

The officer explained the car was in a pond and they needed to get out.

That first non bolded paragraph really doesn't jive with the rest of the article.

The O/U for the Cowboys regular season win total is 9.5.

I'll take the under for a bronze membership if you're up to it.

I'm up for another bronze bet.  Let me look around a bit at some lines and see if anything else jumps out.  Over 9.5 on the Cowboys seems a little...optimistic.

I think some of that takes into account playing in the worst division with the added benefit of playing a last place schedule.  While the Redskins have to play teams like the Panthers and Cardinals; the Cowboys play teams like the 49ers and Bucs.

You mentioned being game for a Cowboys bet so I just threw that out there.  Let me know if you want to do it.  I mean it's only $24 after all to make the season more interesting.

If the Cowboys win less than 8 regular season games then I buy you a one year Bronze membership.

If the Cowboys win more than 8 regular season games then you buy me a one year Bronze membership.

If they go 8-8 then it's a push.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Devante Parker and Jay Ajayi can do. If the O line turns out decent I think he Ajayi can have a big year. Parker is going to step up and be the no1 receiver they have been looking for and Landry is a fucking stud.

D line is looking good as well. I'm happy they brought back Wake. The man is a fucking beast! Sounds like they are going to let the D line t off on qb's this season. It should be fun to watch.

The Cowboys are going to win the Superbowl this season.

Just kidding. They will suck as usual.

Go Bengals.  I hope we make it to the playoffs again.

Then I hope our prison yard team plays dirty and gives the game away with 2 minutes left in the game.

People talk about how long ago the Cowboys' Super Bowls were and yet the Cowboys have three Super Bowl wins since the Bengals last won a playoff game.

I was about 95% sure I was going to win our Eagles bet last season.  This one feels more like a coin flip.

Regardless, it's nice to be playing with house money.

The Broncos have some unusual season odds.

A month ago they had the 5th highest odds to win the Super Bowl at 12/1, had an O/U win total of 8.5, and they were favored to win the AFC West.

Now they have the 7th highest odds to win the Super Bowl at 16/1, have an O/U win total of 9, and the Chiefs are favored to win the AFC West.

The list doesn't say how they are valued.  I'm sure it has to do with the market.  Not surprising that Redskins, Jets and Giants are up there but so are teams like Broncos and Packers.  So I guess, who knows.

Only thing that makes sense off the cuff is the Jets/Giants sharing a market.

I think they take into account owner wealth, and Snyder is one of the wealthiest owners in the league. He had crazy money before he bought the Redskins.

only took 2 years of court battles for Tom Brady to finally give up and take his punishment. I guess he was smart enough to realize the supreme court wasn't going to hear his appeal. That guy is one of the biggest babies in football...

My team beats them almost every year, Dolphins kept the pats from home field last season and that may very well have cost them a Superbowl.

One ball was out of spec, and he was supposed to trust the NFL, the league with leaks in every corner with his cell phone?

What exactly should he have sacked up to? 'Sorry I played with an out of spec ball then beat the shit out of the nfl's new golden boy with a properly inflated ball.'

I can't blame him.
