This is taking place in far north Russia like Siberia. There aren't grocery stores to stroll to to buy food. Meat is meat, the same exact same thing happens in Alaska too. Sorry to hurt your feels.

Oh, I'm sorry if I think poking a bear is fucking retarded. My feelings weren't hurt. I did say I got why they were doing what they were doing. I was just pointing out how fucking retarded it was. Also, where I am has absolutely nothing to do with how stupid what they were doing was. We hunt bears in New Jersistan too. We just don't go around poking them with fucking sticks.
