Playing around with an old griswold no 9 I refinished and reseasoned, so thought I would share. Sorry no guns or knife but I did include a wife picture.
First I prepped up some chicken breast with a few herbs and a little olive oil. These are boring because they aren't the part I was excited about.
Then I steamed some fingerling potatoes for about 15 minutes.
Here's the pan that's in question
After letting the potatoes cool a little, have the sammich maker smash them for you just slightly.
Prep some onion, thyme, garlic, and parsley and you'll need some olive oil.
Fry the potato on both sides and then top with olive oil and fry with herbs, onions and garlic. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Enjoy with chicken, and drink of your choice.
The skillet wiped out clean as could be.
