Sort of a tangent - How do we submit useful NFA rule changes? Is it a petitioning process? Write a letter?
Obviously that ignores what those changes ought to be, but if NFACTA does stuff that screws surely we can submit something that makes it better. |

Hey ATF, there is a foia about to be filed on a sister agency that will expose you for your lies. You can't stop it. Do you love it? Do you hate it? There it is, the way you made it. |

Allowing end caps to be the possible marking location for silencers does constitute a serious public safety issue in the areas of diversion, tracing, and evasion of other NFA rules.” How, exactly, does where the engraving is done affect public safety? And specifically what other NFA rules does it allow to be evaded? Sounds like bullshit to me. |

We paid a lot of money to get a machine that engraves on the side of a rounded tube and these others guys are able to use a $250 surplus engraving machine to legally mark an endcap which is flat, whaaaaa" |

I think he's doing a great job, and I have like I think four tabs open of his work that I've been able to use to help bring people to the chase, not only that but it sure is nice to see someone bring the pain to people who are more worried of stripping has down instead of building us up. |

Here is a list of the Board Members and Officers for the NFATCA, from here:
http://www.nfatca.org/about.htm Who We Are Officers, Board Members John Brown, President - Northpoint Response Group Curt Wolf , Vice President - US Armament Corp Jeff Folloder, Executive Director, Sec/Treasurer Additional Board Members Robert Landies - Ohio Ordnance Works Wayne Weber - Heckler & Koch USA Robert Segel - Small Arms Review The Partisan, NFATCA Newsletter John Brown, Publisher Jeff Folloder, Senior Editor What is very interesting is that the John Brown, Northpoint Response Group, is located in Chantilly, VA, which should be an easily recognized place for HK fans. Board Member Wayne Weber is also the President of Heckler & Koch USA, which is very near Chantilly, VA in Ashburn, VA. Definitely some interesting connections here. Here is some information on the NFATCA itself, from it's IRS Form 990 filings as a 501(c)6. https://projects.propublica.org/nonprofits/organizations/202820282 This is interesting from the 2014 filing. Why do they owe $68k to the Venetian in Las Vegas? |

I spoke to the clowns at the NFATCA booth at NRA. Their talking points: . . . 4. 41F is not a further infringement of the Second Amendment. An honest man shouldn't care about the additional trust requirements. . . . (Edited to correct my typing.) View Quote An honest man shouldn't HIDE their agenda from the very people they say they represent. An honest man wouldn't force Nolo to file a FOIA lawsuit just to see what the organization is up to. If they were honest, they would publicize the list of their petitions for rule making, or at least share it privately with Nolo so this whol thing could be resolved. -but, I don't believe they are honest, and they won't take the honest approach. |
