I don't think you'd feel much..
Wonder why it keeps going backward sometimes? Because other times it just moves forward with the crushing regardless of how many blocks are in there. A machine like that, hydraulically driven, seems to me, would have a hard time "clogging up" thus requiring backward rotation. Maybe I'm completely wrong too, and the blocks are causing it to clog, requiring it to run backward to unclog. That would be interesting to know though. |

I watched a show, maybe on Discovery, about using those in Japan after the big tsunami and they said there was enough debris to shred to run more than one of those 24/7 for 20 years.

I develop software supporting the meat processing industry. We got to go on a couple of plant tours a few years ago. The big meat grinders had warning signs like this:

A local laborer at an industrial laundry fell into a super-sized clothes dryer and they didn't find him until it had finished it's cycle.
Happened a couple of years ago...poor guy was probably in there tumbling a while on high heat before he died.
