Not a movie, but this song is based on the Danny Lyon photography book about Midwest motorcycle racers and the Outlaws MC in the mid '60s.
The song writer to some liberties with the lyrics and mashed a few people stories together, but it gives you a decent just, and this video features several of the iconic photos from the book.

Soo this thread inspired me to watch Dust to Glory again, but I can't find it, so I fired up Amazon and got super excited when I saw they had it on BlueRay for $25, considering I spent $40 for my DVD a little ways back, yea it's fucking region 2
There is also now a BlueRay of Two Lane Blacktop Criterion edition, but it's also region 2, but the US DVD is now down to like $25 which is a damn good deal considering I paid $50 several years ago at a going out of business sale and it was going for about $80 then. |
