I think they may send the rat samples back to Moscow in a cadaver (Martha). Just the feeling I got from the way the lady at the Rezidentura was acting all sneaky. Two birds with one stone. Martha is quite annoying. Doubtful the commies would be able to put up with her shite before she got the Nina treatment. |

Here's my take:
Olegs sexy new assistant is really an double agent. She arranged for a pilot to fly martha to russia. But she won't be going to russia... She'll be going to a secret FBI location where she will come clean and spill all the shit on 'clark'. ETA: Gad said his career is dead. Which means it probably isn't once he everyone finds out there was a mole in the KGB too. |
|
Lots of ways this can go, but they all seem to end with a dead Martha. And frankly, at her age, why start fresh in a foreign country where you don't speak the language.
I kinda feel bad for her. She ended up being a traitor but at first thought she was helping the USA by helping Clark who she though wan an FBI internal auditor |
|
I noticed, when they were searching Martha's apartment, that she has the same make and model of radio as I do. Kinda amused me a bit.

God I wish they'd just kill of that ratchet faced bitch Martha. Same with Paige. I guess they would have no source for conflict after that. That Philip is getting soft. He doesn't have any perspective. I wants to do everything he can to save Martha yet, if she gets caught, it likely means his whole family's lives are over. View Quote She's definitely not a 10, but she must have something going for her. When an FBI Agent and KGB Officer fight each other to the death, you know she must be a demon in the sack. |

Oleg pretty much knows she's into the biological stuff, just hasn't confirmed it. |

I'm pretty sure that Martha is on her way to an ignominious death.
Afterall, she isn't a hero of the Soviet Union, she was merely a dupe who was conned into becoming useful without her own knowledge. The entire ruse of her resettlement with honors is simply a show for Philip to keep him working without distraction. |
|
Okay, wild prediction:
The pinch-hitting pilot is the same Aeroflot guy that pussied out with the first biohazard sample (which in turn almost got everyone killed). The plane gets out over international waters and has some "technical difficulties". Two birds, one stone. And Phillip can keep on working... After all, it was just an unlucky accident, right. |

View Quote 20min... At some point, Martha's gonna get it... Is tonight the night? I honestly think so (not sure how though), but every time I say that, she makes it another episode. The FBI is on to her, the KGB is aware the FBI is on to her. I think getting her out to Moscow is just a ploy. She's an American, not a true Russian, so their loyalty to her is probably close to zero. Every minute she is alive, there is a risk the FBI can catch her and it's pretty obvious to even a casual observer, she will crack under even minimum pressure. She has to go.. |

The day we discovered our parents were Russian spies
For years Donald Heathfield, Tracey Foley and their two children lived the American dream. Then an FBI raid revealed the truth: they were agents of Putin’s Russia. Their sons tell their story View Quote |

Quoted: elizabeth likes porn anybody wanna make a bet on whether timmy makes it back from ethiopia alive? View Quote That would be convenient and plausible when it comes to Paige. Well, the preview may have just shot that down. Although threatening them directly may not end as well the pastor's wife thinks. Maybe. Stan mentioning "The Munchkins" was hilarious to me, for some reason. |

The past two episodes have been stellar… If only TWD and FTWD had writing and acting of this caliber… |

Damn.
Poor Korean dude is about to get his whole world fucked up and he didn't even get the poon. That's just wrong... Evil Empire indeed. |

I bailed after season 2. Maybe I'll catch up when I have time. have them all DVR'd I think.

I'm kind of confused. Is the angle with the Korean dude to blackmail him to get access to level 4?

I stopped watching late into season one after so many episodes filled with family drama and only a tiny bit of spy stuff sprinkled on at the end to create a cliffhanger for the next episode.
Might give it a second shot though; I do like the premise. |

He was still very friendly with all the guys at the Bureau. They probably figured he could be an inside-outside guy. Let them know how things were at the Bureau and work agents outside of the Bureau where he could exploit their trust of him. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I wish I knew of what use Gaad was to them at this point? Not to mention, he very likely could have provided info on whether any other illegals had been compromised. That was a killer episode... Pastor Tim's wife is crazy... but she sure made a heckuva play to ensure their survival... so now if they off them, they have to have an immediate plan in place to get that tape secured (assuming it really exists, and she wasn't just bluffing)... Another great episode.... This season has to win an Emmy... it has been nothing short of spectacular. While reading this I see where a few of you stopped watching... Season 1 is good... Season 2 was better... Season 3 was pretty frustrating.. but Season 4... WOW! is all I can say. It made suffering through Season 3 worth it. If you can get caught up at some point in anticipation of Season 5, I would. |

And now we have confirmed that the Russian chick Oleg is banging is doing an operation on biologics, which is why she was Johnny on the spot with the plane for Martha (as was speculated in this thread)

Quoted: And now we have confirmed that the Russian chick Oleg is banging is doing an operation on biologics, which is why she was Johnny on the spot with the plane for Martha (as was speculated in this thread) View Quote Seems plausible and a way to amp up the story line when Phillip catches wind of what happens. He's already got a foot out of the boat. The whole "est" thing keeps coming back up for me. This would be the thing to get him to flip even possibly to Stan. Elizabeth goes back home to the USSR and Phillip and the kids stay in America. |
|
I was talking to a friend about this episode today and had a thought about Martha's father. Now that he is talking to the FBI, Philip could get in touch with him (if he hasn't already) and use him to press for details on whether they know anything about "Clark" or if they are still working the case. I don't know if that is a relationship that has enough contact to be useful, but it seems like he could be used just easily as Martha was.
