Who will be watching next Wednesday on FX at 10pm? After the bombshell at the end of season 3 things are sure to be interesting.

Oh hell yes! I will be watching. Love that show.
Edit: Did they change actors for the Pastor Tim character? In that last trailer it just did'nt look like him. |
|
Should I start watching? Where can I find the first 3 seasons?
|
|
|
My hope is that they build up the Paige story line this season and then have next season as the series finale dealing with the aftermath. That'll give us a nice tidy 5 season series.

We're catching up now from last season. As we sat in bed watching it last night I commented to the wife, (negative pics) "man, this is a good show."

Tonight is the night!!
DVR set, looking forward to seeing how all of this plays out. |

What's it about? I haven't heard of it before. View Quote Two soviet spys in the early 80's being in America trying to do spy things. Man and woman with two young-ish oblivious children. Great show, you can't but help but root for everyone, the spies and the FBI people hunting them down. Its my favorite show on TV right now, ahead of TWD and Gotham. Tyrant on FX comes in at a close fourth. |

Pretty good episode of the new season with a darker tone. Things are looking pretty good so far.

I give Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys full credit for their acting. I'm a child of the 80s and Ronald Reagan. The commies are the enemy, and killing them is obedience to God, so of course Phillip and Elizabeth have to die.........but dammit, it better not happen until I know their marriage is ok!!!! |

tim needs a dirt nap. paige needs to be cowed or better yet shipped off to "boarding school" in the ussr. she is a ticking time bomb of liability that will burn their ass when they can least afford it
|

I think Elisabeth and Phillip's world might be feeling just a wee bit more claustrophobic. And will probably be closing in more and more if the preview of next week isn't a teaser misdirect.
|
|
Knowing that. Keri Russell is pregnant in real life, it's fun watching them try to hide it on the show.
She wears a lot of coats inside the house or turns away from the camera. Once you look for it, you can't help but notice it all the time. |

Excellent show. I'm always conflicted about whom to root for. It's also fun seeing all the old early 80s set dressing stuff I remember having back then.
I think the thing that bothers me is how good those two are at killing after 20 years in the states. I mean it's been 20 years since their formal training and it's not like they spend a lot of time practicing hand to hand at home. |

Yeah, there's a pretty steep learning curve for Paige. We see how Philip grew up, and it's not a stretch to see him going through training and being hard core. But Paige... can she do it? Will she be a killer? I think I've always assumed she would just use her "clean" background to get into influential positions and drive policy, rather than doing what they do. But now I'm wondering if they will get her involved with something quickly just to scare her into shutting her mouth. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I watched part of the first season but then pooped out on this one

Elizabeth needs to die in a battle royale with Phillip over the future lives of their children. Or in the last episode she's all alone in a shitty apartment back in Moscow drinking shitty vodka watching TV and seeing the USSR disintegrate right in front of her. As she realizes that everything that she trained for, endured, and sacrificed was for nothing, she eats a makarov. |

well paige, you were and are stupid.
stan's gonna catch "clark" |
