I like what Trump has been doing to the political landscape.  As I posted before, to the ignored conservative base of the republican party - he's the perfect murder weapon for the GOPe.  I'm not anti-trump and if he wins the nomination I will support him as he is significantly better than Hillary/Bernie.

However, with the death of Scalia - the seriousness of where we are in history has come into focus for me:   It's do or die time, and the only person I want picking Justices is Ted Cruz.

The thought of Trump wrecking shop in DC for 4 years wouldn't be a bad thing, but I'm not sure I want the man shaping the future of the United States Supreme Court.

Obama has 11 months left in his term.  This is a done deal to replace Scalia with a liberal justice.  The best that Raffy Cruz of Canada can hope for is that someone else retires or dies during the next term.

This news is terrible for The United States.  Truly terrible.

We knew this was a high possibility.

The only hope we have is that the Republicans block EVERY SINGLE NOMINEE from jug ears, and we make it until January 20, 2017.  This is my prayer, but knowing the shitstains we have in Congress, they'll likely roll over.

Ultimately, it gets us closer to our likely destiny...socialism and then finally communism.  Increasing taxation on the ever shrinking productive class in this Nation, accompanied by the systematic dismantling of The Constitution will hasten our journey.

Or, the unlikely scenario is another civil war, which will lead to the balkanization of our Country.  At least in this scenario, Americans will have a choice.

Never communism.  You think the intelligentsia in the upper stages of government would EVER give up their power?  Fat chance.  Like really fat.  Rosie O'Donnell looking like a super model compared to how fat that chance is.

No country was ever communist.  Just unfree socialist shitholes, which is where America is heading if Bernie is elected.  Or Hillary.  Or another Supreme court justice appointed.  In which case, bring on the balkanization.

I would agree, we won't see communism, but I can see a socialist getting a lot of traction, it will be labeled as a democrat of course.

I see us following the EU model, even though it is shown to be a failed idea, that means nothing to those that want to have the haves and have nots.

I can gaurantee you that if the GOPe caves and a Bongo appointee gets through by summer, as soon as the oath is administered, gargoyle Ginsgerg will announce her retirement - even if that appt is not filled, it will be the greatest rallying cry the left will have ever had to get gays, freeloaders and minorities to the polls in November - demoncraps will say that a R win will mean SC appts that will roll back civil rights, voting rights, abortion rights, gay rights, health care rights.....

Being serious here, it will be a black man or women, probably of RoP faith, this will be his hand to get MSM and the left to scream racist. They will cave because they have no spine, when many in this country would probably say FO to that.

Sure hope I am wrong, but I see us swirling the bowl.

You couldn't possibly be that thick to actually believe what you posted - although I see your Trump-Love on display in almost every thread.  And that's OK!  If he's your guy, then support him.

Back on point...  You're either too young to truly understand what you're speaking about.  Or, you're completely uninformed as to how citizenship works in this country.  In either case, please do some research so that you don't appear so uninformed in your posts.

I wish you the best.

I'm kind of confused why no one wants Rubio.

I think he's the best candidate out of all of them - I like his policies and equally important, he appears presidential, something other candidates - including Cruz - have problems doing. He also is a very good debater and relatable to the public. The only thing he has going against him is his age. I truly believe he will be president one day, maybe not this election. He's that good
