I like what Trump has been doing to the political landscape. As I posted before, to the ignored conservative base of the republican party - he's the perfect murder weapon for the GOPe. I'm not anti-trump and if he wins the nomination I will support him as he is significantly better than Hillary/Bernie.
However, with the death of Scalia - the seriousness of where we are in history has come into focus for me: It's do or die time, and the only person I want picking Justices is Ted Cruz. The thought of Trump wrecking shop in DC for 4 years wouldn't be a bad thing, but I'm not sure I want the man shaping the future of the United States Supreme Court. |

Cruz hands down.
I still don't believe Trump is a conservative. |

Obama has 11 months left in his term. This is a done deal to replace Scalia with a liberal justice. The best that Raffy Cruz of Canada can hope for is that someone else retires or dies during the next term.

with the death of Scalia...I am behind Cruz.
Trump will go down due to this event |

The real question should be, who has the highest probability of winning the general election. Anything else doesn't matter.

As someone that is truly undecided I will admit that I woke up this morning with Ted Cruz on my mind, a lot.

This news is terrible for The United States. Truly terrible.
We knew this was a high possibility. The only hope we have is that the Republicans block EVERY SINGLE NOMINEE from jug ears, and we make it until January 20, 2017. This is my prayer, but knowing the shitstains we have in Congress, they'll likely roll over. Ultimately, it gets us closer to our likely destiny...socialism and then finally communism. Increasing taxation on the ever shrinking productive class in this Nation, accompanied by the systematic dismantling of The Constitution will hasten our journey. Or, the unlikely scenario is another civil war, which will lead to the balkanization of our Country. At least in this scenario, Americans will have a choice. |

Trump. He'll ignore the cuckservative pleading to appeal to minorities and nominate a middle aged conservative White Male Protestant, as he should.

Anyone who can beat Hillary. A this point, that is really all that matters. We can speculate what candidate A, B or C might do, we know what Hillary will do.

I would agree, we won't see communism, but I can see a socialist getting a lot of traction, it will be labeled as a democrat of course. I see us following the EU model, even though it is shown to be a failed idea, that means nothing to those that want to have the haves and have nots. |

I'm kind of confused why no one wants Rubio.
I think he's the best candidate out of all of them - I like his policies and equally important, he appears presidential, something other candidates - including Cruz - have problems doing. He also is a very good debater and relatable to the public. The only thing he has going against him is his age. I truly believe he will be president one day, maybe not this election. He's that good |

The same one I voted for to become a US Senator. Ted Cruz. Then, after 8 years in the Oval Office, elect another conservative POTUS that then nominates Ted Cruz to become a Supreme Court Justice.
