It's obvious that they aren't pre-ban, and it's clear that they aren't a LEO. They have ban state plates on their car.

Just to spin off. I had an unknown and uninvited arfcommer show up to a HTF shoot and shoot at steel at 10 yards resulting in a ricochet to my lens of my ballistic glasses. Thank you Oakley.

Needless to say. If you drive a small Lexus and live in Oregon: don't come back to the next one.

Pistol or rifle?

Pistol isn't too bad if you have correctly set up steel, rifle at that distance is just dumb though.

Pistol. He didn't have it set up right and we told him to stop shooting. He didn't. And I caught a ricochet about 30 seconds later. Luckily I had my glasses on even when not shooting.
