Did the first responders draw straws for the chance to open the door first?
|
|
To be fair, most cars in a Wal-Mart parking lot smell like that.
|
|
Damn that's sad, no friends or family to notice a 22 yo missing for 3 months?
|
|
Could see that happen here in winter if the car gets buried in a giant parking lot snow hill.

Depending on the weather conditions it's some mixture of liquefaction and dessication--which vapes out and sticks to the headliner, dripping down on you when you try to work... little stalactites of evil You have to vent that shit out, or you'll be overwhelmed. |

Pretty girl.

At a crowded 24/7 Supercenter I can easily see that happening.

Suicide.
Beautiful young girl like that throws her life away. Sad beyond words. |

Don't want your car vandalized, use that Walmart parking lot.

This. If she never made a "Goodbye cruel world!" Facebook post, and never sent any goodbye messages to anyone, then I'd suspect that the family members who were wondering where she was would probably be unable to file a missing person report. People are allowed to move about freely in this country, and if you decide to up and disappear tomorrow, it's your right to do so. You'd think that at some point someone pushing shopping carts might have noted that the same car had never moved, or smelled the decomp, but who knows... It's an open question as to how long a car is going to sit there before someone decides to check on it during a patrol, particularly if it's in a busy area. In some Walmarts I've gone through and checked on oddly placed cars that looked to have homeless sleeping in them, but in other Walmarts it's not as much a thing, and would probably be much less noticeable. |

Except for the dead body part, I can definitely see how a car can be there that long without notice. We had a car in our employee parking lot that sat in the same place for a full year and no one messed with it or noticed it until one fateful day. We have about 800 people at work.

Dopehead with a needle in her arm. Sucks that she wasted her life, but let's not pretend her death is a net loss for society.

Once again, we see the feelz get emotified when the subject is a dead pretty girl.
Not a bunched panty in sight in the periodic Darwin threads. Carry on. |
