Remington 770 in 7mm Rem Mag. 2010 or 2011 or so, right after I graduated college.

Remington 870 Super mag
I saved up $100 a month of my paper route money when I was in the 7th grade and bought it about a month after I turned 13 years old. I've killed a ton of stuff with it since then. Deer, ducks, geese, pheasants, doves, etc. I followed it up with a Ruger 10/22 the following summer. |

In 1974 I was 12 years old and had my first job. Two paychecks into that gig I had enought to buy a sporterized 30-40 Krag. A few months later deer season opened and I killed my first deer with it.

Can't remember for sure-either a browning BPS 12ga, which I still have, or a Winchester 94 angle eject-cause I wanted to mount a scope on it, and it came drilled and tapped on top for mounts. Cool, right?
Took it to a gunsmith (because these were pre-internet days, and I didn't know about brownells then) to have my scope mounted. When I got it back, the stupid son of a bitch put a side mount on it instead of using the top holes. I was SO pissed off. Sold that gun a couple of years later, IIRC. |

Browning BAR in 30-06.
Bought new in 1986. I gave $396.00 for it. Still have it. I need to shoot it more. |

Remington 1100 3 inch Magnum 12 gauge 30.5" barrel. My mom had to go with me to buy it.

I was 18 years old, my parents needed cash for a car repair. In exchange for giving them the money I got permission to buy a rifle. Ended up buying a surplus Swiss K31 for $99. Still have the gun.

CZ 912 Tom Knapp Edition from Gander Mountain. Picked it up as I wanted a semi auto 12g for a dove hunting trip.

|
Mossberg 12 gauge pump. I put a pistol grip top folder and matching forearm pistol grip, and I thought it was hot shit.
I shot who knows how many thousand rounds through it. This was around 1989. Traded it to my brother for a trigger guard mount pistol laser. |

1983 or 84 S&W model 1000 12ga shotgun. Best shooting shotgun I ever had and I wish I still had it. Up to that point everything was grandfather hand-me-downs and gifts.

In 1977 I bought a Remington 22-250 with my paper route money. Prior to that I was shooting my dad's bolt action tube fed 22 and pump action 30.06. I think it was a Remington 760.

In 1986. A Springfield arms hk91 copy marked "G3" for $359 new in box. |

CMP service grade M1 Garand. It's the only rifle I still have back at my parent's house. I impulse bought a field grade Garand when I went to the CMP south store before Cola Warrior, which had an equally pristine barrel, original finish and an original stock. One day I'll have my original M1 reparked and get a DGR stock for it.
