That's what happens when the GOP Establishment fucks over its base for a decade.

The nominee will be either Trump or Cruz, or else the party is getting burned to the ground with the Establishment trapped inside.

Throwing the baby out with the bath water.

I hope it's Cruz. I'm voting for him or Rand anyway if he's not.

Rand Paul is out, he quit, and Cruz will never win the nomination.

So, there's that . . .

I am aware that Rand quit. Don't tell me I need to use smaller words.

Among Democratic primary voters, Sanders holds a steady lead over Clinton of 52% to 44%.

That's very bad news for Sanders. He needs to finish at least in double digits ahead of Hillary.

Hillary must be stopped at all costs. Since NH allows "undeclared" voters to vote in either primary, anyone who's opposed to Hillary should cross over and vote for Bernie. Whether you like him or agree with him or not.

Coming from ARFCom's resident self-proclaimed socialist.

Hillary will be easier to defeat. If she gets the Democratic nomination, that's fine.

Anyone in NH voting for JEB, Rubio, Kasich or Christie should definitely cross dress over and vote for Hillary.

No not really. Everyone knows by now that Rand quit. My statement was completely based on the assumption that every one already knew. I'm not surprised that a Trumpeteer would think that complete sentences and thoughts can be hard though.

I've kind of wondered about one thing. I occasionally see Jeb referred to as Yeb. Wouldn't it technically be pronounced Heb in Spanish? Just curious.

He's from Connecticut, isn't he?

John Ellis Bush was born in Midland, Texas.  He is Texan through and through.

Jeb Bush was born on February 11, 1953 in Midland, Texas. When he was six years old, the family relocated to the Tanglewood neighborhood of Houston, Texas. The nickname "Jeb" is composed of his initials J.E.B. (John Ellis Bush).

He grew up with two younger brothers, Neil and Marvin, one younger sister, Dorothy, and one older brother, George, who is seven years older. Jeb Bush initially attended Grady Elementary School in Houston. Following in the footsteps of his father and older brother George, at the age of 14 years in late 1967, Bush began attending high school at the Andover, Massachusetts boarding school Phillips Academy, Andover. Even though he received poor grades at first, he made the honor roll by the end of his senior year and served as captain of the tennis team.

Though many in his family had attended Yale University, Bush chose to attend the University of Texas at Austin, beginning in September 1971. He played on the Texas Longhorns varsity tennis team in 1973. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in Latin American studies. He completed his coursework in two and a half years.

Huh.  I thought all the Bush family was from Connecticut.

Jeb was born in Texas.  Went to school there until 14(?), then returned there for college and was employed there until going to Florida.  He is a Texan through and through. Born and bred in Tejas.

He is under the delusion that he will come in first in South Carolina because W. and his mom are going to campaign there for him for the next 10 days.

A new statewide New Hampshire poll reveals Donald Trump holding a significant lead over his Republican opponents with 35% of the vote. Jeb Bush surprisingly takes second with 18%, and John Kasich finishes third with 14%. The rest of the field included Marco Rubio at 9%, Ted Cruz at 8%, and Chris Christie getting 5%, despite a last-minute endorsement from the Boston Herald. Among Democratic primary voters, Sanders holds a steady lead over Clinton of 52% to 44%.

You forgot Jeb! has Lindsey Graham campaigning for him as well.

That should seal up the ARFCOM vote in SC for Jeb!
