Being scared is so understandable.
Do you're best to focus on the fact that chances are good. I know all too well that when they say stuff like "well you're odd are good at 90-95%" it rings hollow. It's hard to call those good odds with what's on the table. But you still have to understand they are good. Make that number and the phrase "I'm probably going to be fine" big in your head. |

Please say a prayer for me. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer today. I have a 6 year old son and I cannot imagine not being able to see him grow up. The doctor says it is operable and my chances of survival are good but i am very scared right now. View Quote I'm not religious, and therefore don't pray, but I'm hoping for the best for you. Can't imagine leaving my 13 and 8 year old sons. |

Papa--Prayers already sent. They have made leaps in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. It's ok to be scared but don't be down! Attitude is everything when fighting stuff like this.

The last 3 generations of men in my family had Prostate cancer. They all beat it and so too shall I when the time comes. Doctors say it's more of when than if.
Prayers sent. Stay strong, focus on the fights not the outcome. Never quit and remember there is a whole lot of people praying for you. |

Make sure you follow up on everything. don't rely on the doctors on everything. Educate yourself on it and stay positive. It is a tough road but remember above all else, stay positive. I am living this right now. It is scary, but remember to spend as much time as possible with your family. It is too easy to take things from granted. |

Positive thoughts my man. Think positive. You WILL beat this. God bless.

What were your symptoms? Sudden abdominal pain and severe problems digesting and passing food. PLEASE GET CHECKED OUT IF YOU THINK SOMETHING IS WRONG. If your body changes suddenly and doesn't go away, your body is telling you something is wrong. |

You have my prayers, sir. I've been rasslin' with a couple different types of cancer for two years. Facing ones mortality is a hard thing, but something everyone should do. You may have a long and happy life in front of you. Let that boogey man sit on your shoulder always. He will be your constant companion and reminder to live every day to the fullest. Each one is a gift. |
|
You'll beat it...convince yourself of that.
Then go about kicking some cancer ass. |

Thoughts and prayers, sir.
My mom's beat cancer twice...it can be done, and will be done. Stay strong, and love your family with everything you've got. I'm in Upstate SC, if you need anything give me a shout. |
