You can get the s30v version for $45
If the discount doesn't apply chat with customer service...even at $55 it's a great deal though |
That's a fine knife, I've got two. I paid $60 for the first one 11 years ago. Can't remember what I paid for the second.
(I actually sold a Jennings 380 for $60 and turned around to buy the knife for the same money at a gun show. I felt safer carrying the knife. ) |
Uhhggghg... Already have 5 of these. Might as well make it 7.
Good knife. They had these last year for a little less. I got 2 for $57 and a s30v for $39.
Thanks OP, got one of the last two olive drab/ black ones. I have been wanting a replacement for my benchmade anyway.

I've got a real hard time not getting automatics anymore... that looks like a fine blade but it also looks like a lot of effort to open it

Actually my Kershaw Cryo with speed safe is great, very easy to open, but this one appears slightly different (no tab to push). I guess I'll find out cause I just bought one |

I've carried one for a few years and the angle on the stud and the speed safe assist make it very easy and quick to open. You won't be disappointed. |

They also had the Olive Drab version on sale a few hours ago; keep an eye on it if you're interested in that as they might drop the price again.

I just paid $45 for the S30V!!! Yaaaaaa, a great knife that I didn't need......
Wifey will be pleased, I'm sure |
I was looking at the S30v.
Knife head at work told me to go with the regular one , that the S30v is harder to shapen, and wont get as razor sharp. he said unless you're cutting cardboard all day or sandpaper or rocks, the S30v is too hard for a user that uses the pull thru sharpener once a week for a half dozen passes. This guy is a machinist, and makes his own knives. Really into this stuff. I got the regular one. |
Picked one up as soon as I saw that. This will be my third. One lost in IED'd Humvee, one stolen. Excellent knife. ,

Figured it was the best time to buy since we have a "no looking at purchase history" rule during the entire month of December. Just means two months from now when she is looking at the purchase history I'll get the random "did you buy a knife" that I'll have to try to explain... And here's to post 2500! |
