i think the miniseries was the best the could do with the material on network tv at that time.  a miniseries on HBO  or series of movies in theaters would be much better..

While I hate his politics, I do love Stephen King's books. The Stand and It are excellent, in fact I'm listening to the audiobook of It and just finished the Stand for the fourth time a couple weeks ago. My favorite King books are the Dark Tower series. Those books changed my life.
