The 92 is a damn good gun, especially in G configuration. I don't like Glocks. I can use one well enough, but I use other handguns better. I find I like shooting other handguns better and when I'm shooting them I'm more motivated to go out and practice. Plus I like having a hammer I can block when I reholster. (I do have a pre-production tester and I have two more on order in case I want to use my Glocks AIWB) When it comes to putting a bullet where I want one on demand, I'm better at accomplishing that with guns other than a Glock of any flavor because other guns fit me better...and the guns I carry are just as reliable and durable as the best guns Glock can put out. I lose nothing, but gain motivation and performance. Win/win. |

I carry a gun as a tool rather than as a fashion accessory. My G19 works, I know it will fire should I have to pull the trigger. That level of confidence is never boring to me. Now, range toys? Shiny toys to show off to friends and tinker with? Buy whatever floats your boat. CCW/EDC? Hell no. Find what works, what you're confident in, and never change it. |

You know, I find the Beretta 92 to be big, clunky, not terribly aesthetically pleasing, with an only decent trigger...
But damn if I don't shoot it well. And it just fits my hand nicely. Do it. |

Someone say Wilson? Took mine out for the first time. 15 rounds, 15 yards. The one flyer is my trademark....always have one.
 Add in the fact I can't see shit and am a lefty. But there are 14 there almost through one ragged hole. Damn she sure is a sweet shooting gun.

Get rid of a Glock and replace it with a Beretta? Now that's common sense gun (collection) control that I can get behind. In fact I recently did just that.
And $500 OTD for a NIB 92G is something you should do even if you keep and carry the Glock. |
