So what's your take DK-Prof on the whole Syrian refugee crisis and it's likely impact on Europe? I suspect I am too angry and frustrated to have any kind of unbiased or objective opinion. My overall problem is the issue that countries like Germany and Sweden - by accepting "refugees" who are swarming in - are essentially sending to message to MILLIONS of people who are living in shitholes, that it's okay to come to Europe. I mean, everyone knows that most of these assholes are not refugees from war, but are just people who are poor and live in Turkey or North Africa, or whatever shithole, and want to get to European countries with nice free benefits. They are nothing but economic convenience migrants, and history tells us that they typically do not contribute to the societies when they arrive. So the problem is not necessarily the ones who have already arrived - while it's a huge number, and obviously from a shitty culture - they COULD be absorbed. But it's not just them - it's going to be so many, MANY more - and they are not going to stop until Europe does someone. I mean, why should they stop? I don't blame people for wanting a better life, and if someone is telling them that they can have free money and a better life if they come, of course they will. So the flood will not stop until Europe makes the hard decisions to turn them away - but the fucking bleeding hearts in Germany and Sweden apparently do not have the balls to do so. And I don't have a problem with it, if those countries choose to destroy themselves - but their stupidity is going to screw their neighbors. For example, Sweden just LOVES to take in lots of fucking middle eastern migrants and refugees - and then they dump shitloads of them in ghettos in Southern Swedish towns RIGHT on the Danish border, a few miles from Copenhagen. Australia has the correct approach. They TURN AWAY migrants, and they have sent the clear message to all migrants that the door is shut - and the result has been that migrants mostly don't even bother to try to get to Australia any longer. |

Earlier this year, another report found that 40 per cent Germany's 3,600 soldiers in Afghanistan were overweight.
This has prompted Reinhold Robbe, Parliamentary Commissioner for the armed forces, to observe: "Plainly put, the soldiers are too fat, exercise too little and take little care of their diet."
