Ok GD, it's been a year or more since I've bought an AR and with the release of Noveske's OAF rifle I've gotta case of the "gotta have it's".

I keep going back and forth between FG and good 'ol black..

I've never actually seen a FG rifle in real life, and so have reservations about getting a rifle with a finish on it that is permanent and not removable. The photos of FG rifles I have seen leave me with mixed feelings. Some look good, some do not and I suspect that it is a matter of the lighting in the photos that determines that. If it is just anodized at least I have the option of cerakoting it later if I choose so.

Photo looks like FDE not Foliage Green. Unless you use different acronyms than I.

it is FG as per the Noveske website...I called to double check and they said it was Magpul FG

I'd go OD or FDE, but voted FG. Black just sticks out like a sore thumb.

Why did they do almost the complete rifle, then stick Magpul black stocks on it?

All my ARs are black, but that fg looks really good to me.

I typically go black.

But in this case, I'd probably go FG.

Either way, it's a noveske.

ordered yesterday, black it is...almost went with the FG but not having seen it in person I just couldn't justify it. also having them put on an Omega brake instead of the Saker...

now the wait begins.
