25 in a 20. Supposedly swerved while being pulled over. It's amazing how much light comes out of the grill of one one of the new police Tahoes when you are in a Miata w the top down. Of course I swerved you ass. No dogs shot and I'm home so I guess I can't complain too much. CSB I'm sure. Night everyone

A friend of mine got shot in the face trying to stop a robbery. He is still alive but the brain damage caused him some slurred speech. If he gets pulled over in a strange town, it is always an adventure for him.

I got pulled over the other night, even told the officer I was going to a bar. No ticket, just a warning.

My bil has severe type II diabetes. Brilliant man, three Masters, working on his PhD.
Nicest guy ever. He's been in two minor wrecks in the 25 years I've known him, both due to him going into shock. He was treated as the worst sort of drunk each time. Cuffed and arrested. This despite his bracelet. He doesn't drink alcohol. |

I have to say, the lights have gotten out of control bright. I think they are bordering on dangerous. On a dark road at night, it's tough to see the road and/or people as you approach a lit up cop car. It's like the UFO from Close Encounters crash landed in the road, only 50 times brighter and more distracting. I think the LED's are harsher on my (old) eyes too. The new LED's are a double edged sword. Low current draw and with the high vis you can see the things during the day, fuck they are blinding if your too close.
At night they are a total bitch, especially when every one is going with the belief that more is better.. One squad is bad enough, toss in a hand full in one place, it becomes a nightmare.. Your depth perception is gone, not to mention being blinded... I'm surprised that more MVC's haven't been blamed on them. |

Yes, those lights are bright.
I got pulled over a while back in a decked out K5. The officer just sat there so I flipped the switch on my 2 rear facing KC lights. Popo blew a gasket. Lulz were had. |

There was a squad car with all kinds of flashy bright lights on the shoulder. I couldn't see shit so I came to a complete stop. I work swing shirt, was working 4p-12a. Had to stay over till about 2a to help with a repair. I work at an ammunition manufacturing plant.
On my way home, I pass a cop car. I am driving the speed limit. He follows me for about two miles. Pulls me over, says my LP light is out. Then asks me where I'm coming from. I told him, work at the Arsenal. He asks, have I been drinking? Um, no. Then asks where I'm going, to which I reply home. Then asks if I'm carrying, to which I reply no. (No firearms on the plant as its .fed) However, concealed is concealed. This asshole writes me a ticket and takes up 20+ minutes of my tired ass time... That cop was trolling hard. ETA: The blue techno strobe lights on the backs of cop cars are crazy. They are so fucking bright, I wouldn't see a cop standing next to or near his car until he was under my car.
